The only reason why the Soviets didn't try to invade the US was because they knew that every citizen was armed. Not only would they have to defeat the US military, they would also have to defeat the populous and that would be impossible. There is no way to defeat an army of 300 million. You have to have a tax stamp to own a true assault riffle (fully automatic) but to get the stamp you have to be approved by the ATF which is a lot like being approved for a marijuana tax stamp by the government.

Everyone that's been posting pro 2nd amendment has stated this. You aren't telling us anything we didn't already know. But since the shills and antiguntards dont truly understand this, I'll give you 5 stars for effort.

Here's the irony in all this. Every single one of the mass murders who has gone on a shooting spree has been under the influence of drugs, either illegal narcotics or legal pharmaceuticals. Instead of cracking down on drug use, the government is trying to push through drug decriminalization and at the same time attempting to criminalize firearms. That makes about as much sense as outlawing cars to cut down on DUI deaths.

When the constitution was written the citizens had the same exact firearms that the government had. That is the way it is supposed to be.
