WalMart does not sell handguns.

How many crackheads are shooting each other with the scoped bolt action hunting rifles that WalMart does sell?

OP doesn't appreciate you bringing critical thinking into his thread.

Ahh yes critical thinking.. Is blindly adhering to your own ideology with disregard for new information or information that contradicts your presuppositions considered thinking?

That's just the example I choose to use not so much because of the store but the neighborhood it's associated with, and yes crimes are committed with shotguns, and pawn shops are a plenty in neighborhoods such as these.

Not a single poster is buying your bullshit.

You've been identified and called out.

Trying to have a reasonable debate with people like this is impossible. I never said I wanted to convince you, I'm open to new information.

Looks like the gun industry shills are out in force today. Big money on the line huh? Just follow the money and you will see an industry that wants desperately to convince people that average Americans will suffer under gun laws.

In fact the only thing that will suffer is the pocket books of the wealthy.

Criminals do not buy/register weapons, and anyone that does so is stupid. Why would someone pay $600 for a new pistol they're gonna use as a burner anyway? You can get a dirty 9 on the street around here for $50. Personally I've never bought or registered even one gun from a store, it's a rip off. Get em from the street much cheaper.

I know people who used to buy the little bullshit semi auto Ak's and P90's they would sell in the gun stores. They would just convert them to full auto and sell for twice as much.

If you subtract the gun-related crimes committed by inner city negroes, then the gun-related crime rate of the US is the same as that of Belgium.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32284139

No, it's WAY lower in Belgium. We don't have a gun tradition.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32679658

No, you have a homosexuality and drug addiction tradition.

Are you done cheering at the inauguration already?

I guess SEIU had the buses ready to get you affirmative action low-lifes back online ASAP after that dog and Wookie show.

Nice try shill. Your link is "firearm deaths per 100000", nothing to do with crime. Alaska is second. Lots of hunting accidents and suicidez
Hawaii is #1 in per capita drownings. Ban the ocean!!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24659056

Just show me some better numbers then. I tried to find one that took out suicides.
 Quoting: Grimsun

More Guns Less Crime!

John R. Lott’s More Guns, Less Crime drew both lavish praise and heated criticism. More than a decade later, it continues to play a key role in ongoing arguments over gun-control laws: despite all the attacks by gun-control advocates, no one has ever been able to refute Lott’s simple, startling conclusion that more guns mean less crime. Relying on the most rigorously comprehensive data analysis ever conducted on crime statistics and right-to-carry laws, the book directly challenges common perceptions about the relationship of guns, crime, and violence.
