Yet, everyone I talk to says don't do anything, I've listened for the last three years as one dooms day prediction after another has come and gone. Every time I think the elite are about to be dethroned Icelandic style, they break a law that is totally ignored, never prosecuted, and allows them to keep the charade going for another couple months. Bailouts, money creation, theft like MF Global, laundering money like HSBC, and yet no one goes to jail.

I've come to understand that TOO BIG TO FAIL means one thing, it means the destruction of the middle class, and the strip mining of our nation.

So many people have lost everything, many others are struggling, and yet even more are cheating, or turning to criminal activity just to survive, including the states that have legalized everything lately except for prostitution.

I have no more dreams, and I was a dreamer.
There is no future, they've taken that away.

Dude up until 2011 50% of my work was in the USA and the other 50% in Canada. 2012 saw my US work shrink to 10% and the Canadian portion did not cover it. This year my Canadian work looks good but the USA work will be less than 10% so I have been forced to get contracts in South America to make up the difference.

I hate to travel that far to earn an income but I have to eat and pay the bills.

There are many who feel just as you do, including me. Don't give up hope, because when you do that, that's when we are truly lost. We will move past these sad days, but in order for us to do so, we must have faith in each other, and in God :-)

Sounds wonderful in theory, but people here are not being materialistic, they are worried about the most basic things needed for survival, such as some type of roof over their heads. And food, especially if they have children.

The problem is that people can't get a life because they can't get a fucking job and you can't move on without money in your pocket.
