This had never ever happened before. My phone is set to go to voicemail only after many many rings, and whenever I get a call, even if it hangs up before my voicemail catches it will always show in my history. Quoting: sunshine4mealwayz My phone is new,and working perfectly so I don't know what happened that day. Spirits? A loved one who passed who is playing tricks? I'm not crazy. I just believe...and hope...it can happen... I believe too.At the time It happened I was googling the name of a suspect in the Sarai Sierra murder and was thinking she reached out to me letting me know it was him.And then right after that I had another strange incident happen. MIDWESTLOCATED User ID: 23676242 United States 02/14/2013 10:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OP is not lying. Same thing happened to me today around 5:45pm and lasted for about an hour. The same exact thing, random numbers calling me and when I would answer no one was there, and when I called them back they said they didn't call...it happened with both local and out of state calls. I was also told that people were trying to call me, but it wouldn't ring at all, and not even get my voicemail. Quoting: Truth808 I live in Miami and have T-mobile btw. I'm having this problem on t-mobile. I can't call out anywhere and I'm getting calls from strange numbers that I can't answer. Also can't get into my voicemail... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6638540 Yes!! I'm on T-mobile and the calls were starting a little later than you. Assuming you meant 5:45 est. Mine started at 6:10 CST. I called all 3 back, the first one was because it was someone I thought I knew (work related) from Memphis (901 area code). When I called it rang for a few then just went dead. The second was 612 (Minneapolis) and when I called that back someone answered and mumbled something and hung up. The 3rd was a 623 area code (Phoenix about 6:21 cst) and I actually got the girl that answered to talk. She said she hadn't touched her phone in 30 minutes and that she did not call a 205 area code at all. Crazy... I didn't have time to check tmobiles forums to see if people were reporting issues since my first assumption was that it was just an issue with their system. But, it seems that way Need more Tmobile folks to chime in |

Such fun! I've gotten calls from all around the US in no time and met several new folks in the process of figuring it out. If you happen to be trying to reach me, I've shut it off while they're working on the system glitch. :) Quoting: My FriendREAD^^^ :) its not just u you in Kentucky or where? Someone nearby might be using a frequency very close to yours or the exactly same. Possibly why someone else picked up your phone calls. That part 3 on youtube sounded like someone just off frequency to your cordless phone. If you want to narrow down your problems get a wired phone and don't use the wireless for awhile and see where you stand after a few weeks.. |

What they do is call you and put YOU on hold until one of their prisoners is available to speak with you. The NYPD is probing a series of mysterious 911 calls apparently originating from a phone line registered to Couric's late husband, Jay Monahan. Monahan died in 1998 after a battle with colon cancer. But, according to the New York Daily News, his phone dials 911 every Tuesday around 2 a.m. There have been at least 10 instances of the calls since last month, according to the Daily News. Couric relayed the bizarre story to her studio audience during a commercial break this week. She says she asked NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly to investigate the matter. [link to tv.yahoo.com] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18237036 maybe the software can't make up its program purpose to id a human voice and an answer machine voice so it stays silent Interesting solution! I will occasionally get that sort of call, where it's just "open air". When that happens, I'll say "I'm so glad that you called, I want to talk to you about Jesus and how He has a plan for your personal salvation along with that of the whole rest of the World." Usually about then there's a click and then a dial tone.
