weird phone calls

I'm not crazy. I just believe...and hope...it can happen...

Yes!! I'm on T-mobile and the calls were starting a little later than you. Assuming you meant 5:45 est. Mine started at 6:10 CST. I called all 3 back, the first one was because it was someone I thought I knew (work related) from Memphis (901 area code). When I called it rang for a few then just went dead. The second was 612 (Minneapolis) and when I called that back someone answered and mumbled something and hung up. The 3rd was a 623 area code (Phoenix about 6:21 cst) and I actually got the girl that answered to talk. She said she hadn't touched her phone in 30 minutes and that she did not call a 205 area code at all.

Crazy... I didn't have time to check tmobiles forums to see if people were reporting issues since my first assumption was that it was just an issue with their system. But, it seems that way

Speaking of obozo, whenever I'm on the phone with someone discussing how obozo is dismantling the U.S. we get cut off. That seems to be the only time that happens.

I believe too.At the time It happened I was googling the name of a suspect in the Sarai Sierra murder and was thinking she reached out to me letting me know it was him.And then right after that I had another strange incident happen.
Since then I don't know what to think.

Oh wow! Today is my lucky day! I have heard that the Carnival Triumph is a most exciting....and a really unique and rare experience!

Called back all 3 and all 3 have said they did not call me...

I imagine its my friends fucking with me, but what better place to check to see if anyone else is getting things like this than here...

I can explain it. It's a call center. What they do is call you and put YOU on hold until one of their prisoners is available to speak with you.

My rule is don't answer the phone or door unless you are expecting it.

Ok this is weird, I was just reading yahoo headlines, and this story came up and I remembered seeing this thread earlier. Look at this!

NYPD investigating 911 calls from Katie Couric's dead husband

Katie Couric has become the focus of one strange investigation.

The NYPD is probing a series of mysterious 911 calls apparently originating from a phone line registered to Couric's late husband, Jay Monahan.

Monahan died in 1998 after a battle with colon cancer. But, according to the New York Daily News, his phone dials 911 every Tuesday around 2 a.m. There have been at least 10 instances of the calls since last month, according to the Daily News.

Couric relayed the bizarre story to her studio audience during a commercial break this week. She says she asked NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly to investigate the matter.

yeah...especially that guy Kelley. They think its a hacker. But it's still weird, and how come she has still her dead husbands phone with the number? but its weird anyways. I have lots of weird phone problems here but always blamed it on our govt rerouting calls and we found out that calls were rerouted to Israel (lawsuit after Revolution on that). But still happens, calling a person in address book and somebody else picks up, or getting a call with a strange number and it's someone in my contacts. Our lines were always fucked up. something its not working right it seems with all the phone number and satelites, lol.

when my phone rings and i get the dead air open line i spit venom and vulgarity into the empty phone. i found bill collectors now run calling software that screens calls for real humans and not answering machine pickup.

maybe the software can't make up its program purpose to id a human voice and an answer machine voice so it stays silent

Interesting about the lawsuit regarding phone calls to Israel. That's really confusing to me....and also confusing is calling a person in your address book and somebody else picks up.

Come to live in the United States and get the phone calls from companies who want to reduce your credit card bills or give you a better price on your electric bill.

Then again, you might get a phone call with no one on the other end....just silence.

LOL I don't have to come to the Us for those calls, I get marketing calls all the time and sms advertising too. Very annoying...but more annoying is if our lines get crossed or if you call someone and get constantly disconnected. weird stuff happening all the time but we are used to it here and never think much about it, except that it's annoying. I think it has to do with overload on lines and satellites problems (plus probably the rerouting of listening in on our calls). ;)

I always have luck typing the number into google, it will usually tell you if it has been reported as a scammer or telemarketer
