They financed the fucker into office. Yeah. More disappointed libtards caught off-guard. Shoulda done their research instead of just grabbin' Your wife (if you still have one) must be bored out of her skull by this endless repetition. The meat of the matter is that cost of healthcare will be dumped on the states in less than 3 years now. Walmart doesn't like unions either, which is why they can pay their employees so little they are forced to use foodstamps and who pays for those. Why your State coffers pay for them. No of course unions were made in the first place to protect workers from unreasonably low compensation, not enough of course to avoid lack of benefits by the practice of shortened hours and schedules so irregular it is impossible to get a second job to fill the gap unless the worker quits. Unions were created for good reasons. The fact that some have gone too far as in teacher's unions and so forth is not the point to lump it all in one bin. Ultimately what you propose is weakening the power of your own state. |

As a former paramedic, married to an RN, whose best friend is a Physician Assistant, I can assure the collapse of the healthcare system has been underway for a decade. There is nowhere to kick the can. If Obamacare is repealed all of the same problems and economic issues remain. We don't have a decade, we don't have three years, the collapse of healthcare is here. Unions don't pay for shit, government or not. They negotiate a contract with the employer. The employer is bound to the contract. The contract says the employer must pay for health insurance 100%, they can't deviate from that until the contract expires, then the union asks for even more because the company is still making billions in profits. If they don't like it, we shut em down. |

If they don't like it, we shut em down. A lot of the time the increased costs on union health funds are passed onto the employees, i.e. they take a 20 cent per hour pay cut to fund the increase. You can say the employer pays everything, but the total compensation package provided to the employees is the big picture. In a state with low union penetration, the workers have to make sure the package is competitive with the rat competition, or nobody will hire the union companies to perform any work. That's how union contractors stay in business in the south. The employees make more, and the boss man makes enough. The rats get paid shit and the boss man laughs all the way to the bank at non-union shops. |

That's the real reason they want out. They knew this all along so what they want now is either an exemption from covering certain items, or government subsidies. In the end the union will get what they want because they are in tight with the Democrats. No. Unions only care about membership and dues. This was the plan all along. Unions will get government subsidies to maintain their current health plans. Obamacare will suck. This will encourage millions to join Labor Unions to get the better healthcare. It will encourage workers to agitate to Unionize their workplace. It will encourage those in "right to work" states to lobby their legislators to make Unions mandatory. It's a long-range plan. This is part of it. |

This is problematic because the bill was started in the Senate. Tax bills cannot start in the Senate. Penalty bills can. A lawsuit has already been filed calling this into question. The ruling included a poison pill. |
