We must first agree an definitions. If you agree with me that sound is defined by vibrations in a certain bandwidth then yes, there was a sound. If you define "sound" as the brains interpretation of vibrations translated into thought then no. However, in your pedantic, exercise you fail to include other creatures which certainly would hear the tree fall. But, alas in the world of people who pose this silly question, they forget to remove insect, mammal, reptilian and bird life which in my world would remove the existance of the forest from the realm if possibility rendering the tree fall impossible.

I have 186 tested 6 times. I have a request from the mensa club and still dont know shit.
