Held a door for a lady coming out the gas station and gave her a smile as I did it. Probably made her day!! Feels good to help others just as much. So what are you going to do today? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7736082 I saw a guy hold the door open for a woman behind him once at a shop and she said rather frostily 'I hope your not holding that door open just because I'm a woman!!!' He replied with great humour 'Certainly not madam!I am holding it open because 'I' am a gentleman.' |

To not be a hypocrite and make my community a little better place one person at a time seems better than complaining on the computer. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33825975 Thats the spirit, doesn't even have to be something big. Maybe shovel the neighbors driveway for those that are living in snowy areas right now, maybe when you go through the drive-through for lunch tell the person at the window you will pay for whoever ordered behind you, maybe if you go shopping offer to take up a shopping cart for someone after they have unloaded their groceries in the car. |

I hope someday I'll have time to do volunteer work like that. It's not about beating someone or who is more giving, its all about doing something you love to do. I love to be happy, and we get so caught into our daily lives because jobs take so much out of our lives, that I have the time while I am looking for a job to do this. Its really fun, go try it. All it takes is 3 ours a week to go volunteer somewhere where you can help uplift the world, and while you do that God uplifts YOU. www.heavenletters.org |

phoenixe User ID: 34782429 Germany 02/22/2013 09:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | as a ffriend of mine is sick in different ways and we had a really long talk last night, i highly probably found the reason why she is sick. she told me all what´s going on, and i could only think of one reason that fits this all; she suffers from light depression, headaches, a dermal fungus infection, stomach problems and pain in her joints. besides that, she eats a diet really high in carbohydrates and drinks not enough water. none of the docs she already visited thought about this: candida infection. made her do the waterglass test, she sent me the pic 2hrs ago, and if this test is just a bit trustful, she is infected. got her all serious information about this together and sent it to her - told her, she should drink more, to eat more balanced and should see her doctor on monday for a stool sample, to find out if there´s too much candida in her. i really do hope i found the reason why this wonderful young woman is suffering from different symtoms since more than 6 months. |

But we need to learn to open doors without expecting a thank you. Basically your expecting something in return for your kind act and thats just not right. |
