That's okay Lisa... From your post history it's quite apparent to many that you simply refuse to acknowledge anything that challenges or confronts your limited understanding of the 'truth'. Someday you'll come around and find the strength to expand your awareness and root out the man-made lies from the universal truths. It's obvious that time is not now.

I don't need some fake story tale character to save me. I can save myself from what ever situation I get myself into. If only the people in these videos knew that Jesus can't save anyone because he's completely fictitious, they would be even more proud. Stop giving credit to something that doesn't even exist, for all the hard work and will power you have.
 Quoting: Bilbo Baggins

The fleshly/carnal side of me would like to be a fly on the wall when you take your last breath and "watch" you save yourself when the demons come to escort your soul to hell.

The spiritual side of me.. weeps for your lack of wisdom/knowledge.

Of course He is not real to you. Unless you have to faith to believe you NEVER know Him... which is ultimately the saddest state a human being could ever find themselves in.

Most people of faith have had encounters with God that would defy anything an unbeliever spew out.

People that think like you are literally so lost.

May you come to your senses before it's too late.

Really????? Well you people who love to belittle believers, spit on the Cross, claim that Jesus is a fairy tale, dismiss God and all the other filth you proclaim make my stomach turn.

As I mentioned in another post... your blatent disregard for the weight of your words on others is despicable IMHO.

One day.. the horror of your reality will come crashing down around you. It won't be pretty.

You're all quite gifted in mocking everything affiliated with the Almighty but you certainly like to point fingers when the tables are turned.

Oh my, you are so upset at what I said you are assuming that I don't believe in the creator or understand the life of Jesus.
Let me set you straight. I do believe in the life of Jesus as the example to live by. His whole life and ministry got hijacked by ptb and now we much look deep inside ourselves to find the truth. The creator needs no book to save anyone. He only needs someone who is willing to put their EGO aside and follow the narrow path.
The horror of my reality came crashing down around me when I realized that the church was bogus and I was trying to use a get out of jail free card instead of lean I g on the creator to lead me to my own salvation.

You are absolutely right.. Jesus would not be happy with my comment. I accept full responsibility for that. Although I do believe He understands my frustrations. I have asked for forgiveness and ask Lisa*Lisa to forgive me for being a brat on her thread... as well as anyone else I may have offended.

Kindly forgive me until the next time.. I am fairly sure it will happen again.... Not intentionally.. most people are a work in progress. I am that and then some.

Sorry Lisa.. this is such a beautiful thread. I feel very bad to have brought any ick upon it.

There is nothing to forgive. We all say/do things we wish we had not.
The important thing is that we ponder things and always stay open to correction, no matter what thing/person/word it comes through.
I believe that all things work to our betterment.
The Only real difference is I believe that the creator created us and resides at our core, and you believe we are sinful and worthless, needing Jesus to cover us.
Even Jesus said the kingdom is inside us.
I believe we will both eventually end up "with" god, you believe I can not.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22439663

I'm not so much sorry for what I said as I am the way it came out. I know what I meant but it should not have been said merely because it was so easy to pounce upon, thus given footing to the enemy (I am referring to my "fly on the wall" comment).

Sometimes my fingers type faster than my brain engages.

As far as the rest of your comment, yes we embrace different beliefs.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Re: So, You Think Jesus Can't Save You? Not Good Enough For Him?
Great thread, Lisa!

Jesus was speaking to the chief priests and elders of the people when He said the following:

Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you."
(Matthew 21:31)

Who are those that represent the chief priests and elders today?

Who would Jesus direct that verse to today?

Salvation is experienced by those who truly repent, and who are those who will truly repent?

"When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the "sinners" and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: "Why does he eat with tax collectors and 'sinners'?

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Those, who in their own opinion, believe themselves to be free from disease, in this case, the disease of sin, feel they have no need of the Physician.

Before any doctor can help you, you must admit that you have a problem, go for help, and accept the treatment.

A good doctor will always tell you the truth about your condition.

This is what Jesus, our Great Physician, came to do. To tell us that we are not spiritually well.

We have a fatal disease called sin.

That is the diagnosis, and He is the cure.

Jesus said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means,
'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance".
(Matt. 9:12-13)

One is more likely to become saved if he realizes he needs to be saved.

One is more likely to be healed when he realizes he is sick and needs the the help of the Physician.

Once you embrace a recognition of your sin and become truly sorrowful for it, you will truly repent.

Broken

I saw Jesus, and then I saw a whole crowd of people coming to Him with smiles on their faces. All of the people were broken in one way or another. They had been hurt by the world, themselves, and others. They were tired and weary.

Some in wheelchairs, some on crutches, some with open wounds and bandages.

All were making their way to Him and He was welcoming them with a smile and outstretched arms.

Love this guy's testimony from Lisa's post. He was fully awake, and had a real supernatural encounter with Jesus. After the experience, he left Islam, and became a Christian.

[link to www.youtube.com]

There's many accounts like this, and again this is unique with Jesus and Christianity.

I have not yet heard a single current account, where a person, being fully awake, meets Buddha, Muhammad, Krishna, etc.

People can believe that they need to be guided on the right path, but don't believe that it is blood sacrifice that does that for you.
What happens to them?

Are you actually here to learn something, or to just troll and harass?
 Quoting: Lisa*Lisa

To learn something, and to share what I have learned.
The Christian threads are close to my heart because I was raised a christian.
I also believe people can be touched by god and find comfort and strength in his shadow. The 91 psalm is my favorite.
Where we differ is that I believe that the creator/father is within me and lives through me for better or worse we experience this life together. The same goes for ever other human here.
Rejecting the light is what plunges you into darkness, not simply being born.

Re: So, You Think Jesus Can't Save You? Not Good Enough For Him?
With so many threads about how we'll be destroyed if we don't ........(insert each religions particular theology and punishment for not following their religion), a person begins to think there's no need to even try.

Finally we notice there's nothing of the love of God and His son, nothing about how God smiles on us when we do things he approves of, nothing to show how our Creator loves us and wants us to worship Him and not a religion, nothing positive.

Until someone comes along and makes a simple statement and preaches through their actions, rather than words. There are few people here that have blessed others by showing through their actions, what is right. What is truth. Thank you for being one of them Lisa. Your post brought tears to my eyes. Not good as expressing myself, but think you'll know my post comes from my heart. Thank you.

John 6:40, "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."

And the difference between that poster trolling your, vs you trolling this entire conspiracy site is what? That's right, not one goddamn thing.

Like I said earlier on pg 6, you are too fucking blind and ignorant to see that you bring the animosity against you upon yourself. It is your own doing, so shut the fuck up.

Have a beautiful day, Jesus loves you.
 Quoting: Lisa*Lisa

All my days are wonderful, they are all without immersing myself in man-made religion.

To blindly say "Jesus loves me" is to claim you know the thoughts and intentions of that supposed entity, one that is far above any human realm. Makes you pretty fucking special doesn't it .... at least, that's what you are told to think - and you blindly comply to the will of men.

I can only speak for myself. You notice I did clearly state my fleshly/carnal side.....

You are absolutely right.. Jesus would not be happy with my comment. I accept full responsibility for that. Although I do believe He understands my frustrations. I have asked for forgiveness and ask Lisa*Lisa to forgive me for being a brat on her thread... as well as anyone else I may have offended.

The truth is.. my anger is with the great "deceiver "thief" and the "master liar".

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places". Eph. 6:12

I am a feisty, passionate personality and sometimes it gets away from me. My love and gratitude for the Lord are sincere however. I absolutely undeniably adore Him and there is not a day that goes by that I am not immensely thankful for all He has done for me.

Kindly forgive me until the next time.. I am fairly sure it will happen again.... Not intentionally.. most people are a work in progress. I am that and then some.

Sorry Lisa.. this is such a beautiful thread. I feel very bad to have brought any ick upon it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23290196

 Quoting: Angelic_Warrior

So you just worded it wrong? You feel bad because you gave the enemy something to call you out on?
So following Jesus example does not matter?
It is his free pass into heaven that saves you but sends me to hell?
I used to believe that way too.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22439663

I John 2:19

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
I Corinthians 2:14

God doesn't choose favorites.. They choose HIM

It is not the greatness of my faith that moves mountains but my faith in the greatness of God

Have read bible through 2xs times. Study it daily.

Request you show me the spefific verses that back what you say. If you dont know where they are just say so instead of your snooty answer.

Not a "snooty" answer, it was the truth.
 Quoting: Lisa*Lisa

I had to stop by this because I have not been certain. I have wondered what comes first. Heart or the prayer. Can we pray to God and then He will give us a heart for Him ?. Or may be one who not already has a heart for Him, would not even bother to begin praying?.

lots of people are in denial or rebellion.

Interesting question, and I think it really comes down to a persons intent. If you're praying to win the lotto and become rich, then you don't have a heart for Him, but a heart only for yourself.

If you're praying for guidance and to get to know God, then you have a heart for Him.

Does that make any sense?

I walked away from the church because I believe it is corrupt.
I am sure you can find a verse to back up everything you believe. You go ahead and judge me all that you want. Jesus warns against it.

Re: So, You Think Jesus Can't Save You? Not Good Enough For Him?
Those who fall into temptation, and have to apologize later for their behavior...

24Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon a rock:

25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand:

27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

The floods and the winds are the challenges in life; and whosoever falls into temptation and acts in a remorseful way, their house has fallen.

They're not built on the rock which they so self righteously proclaim.
