Seems to me most of the sinkholes are in coastal areas (the ones I'm aware of anyway). I'd imagine it's some sort of erosion from either water deep beneath the surface or maybe plate movement. Maybe a combination of the two even.

What you said about the locations seeming almost selective rang true though. If that's the case, I'd put my money on scalar/resonance wave technology.

paving roads, home construction, parking lots, they all stop water from penetrating the ground directly below it. Causes it to not replenish some under ground water ways Leaving the current water level acting as the piston that pulls on the surface as a vacuum as it sinks with gravity tugging.

Leaving huge caverns, the rest is history....

You know it would create a small black hole that once created would float to the center of the earth end slowly eat away matter ......until we're all dead?

I can't believe no one remembers all the websites and warning from years ago when they tried to stop them from turning it on.
