Want some advice? Do NOT DO IT! You can destroy your marriage, the other parties marriage, and maybe your kids in the process. This is NOT something you ought to ever even contemplate.

Divorce is rough. But it's far more honorable to say "It's Over" legally than to simply go out looking for something new while someone is home thinking you're being faithful.

Never cheated - married for 18 years. But I did have some emotions for an old hs flame that I reconnected with after decades on Facebook. He had asked me out band in was dating another boy at the time, but I did have a crush on him in hs. When I reconnected with him after all those years, and felt something, I knew I had to say goodbye right away. I knew if I continued getting to know him, there would be disaster. In some way I looked at severing our friendship has the most loving thing I could do, as it saved him any pain or heartache that may have happened if he started to like me again. I had already declined him once in hs, I didnt want to disappoint him again. I love my husband, and it would have been selfish of me to garner any attention from him, knowing I could never let a simple Facebook friendship go beyond virtual. He was also divorced and most likely vulnerable to any attention I may gave given him.

This is what love is, taking action to keep your marriage first, no matter how tempting it may be to explore a new friendship or enjoy the attention. I think our nostalgic pasts are sometimes hard to forget. HS is such a special time. I would expect my husband to have done the same, had he ever encountered an old flame. People are only human and have emotions, but its your actions that define who you are.

I have been with my wife for 13 years we have 3 children and have cheated on each other many times over the 13 years. we got together in high school.

But at 30 years old we have the most amazing relationship ever. we have grown and learnt so much being together through thick and thin. when we look back we always say we wouldn't change a thing otherwise we wouldn't have what we have now. we are soul mates. Fully in love and we have full trust in each other.

I don't have a spouse but my dad did cheat on my mom if you want another answer to your poll. They're still married though.
