Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42095518 And according to the Constitution supporting him is against the law. He admitted to stealing govt intelligence and sharing it. Your kind of thinking is frightening. You are so wrong that it's unbelievable. In every other country their constitution protects the government from the people. IN THE USA THE CONSTITUTION PROTECTS THE PEOPLE FROM THE GOVERNMENT!!! Through the legal system, not through people's opinion of how it is supposed to be interpreted. Senators said that PRISM was legal. It is legal because Mitch McConnel worked on the definition of electronic surveillance to make it legal. This will be worked out according to how the courts interpret the law and the Constitution. Have you ever seen a ruling you disagreed with? Well you might get to see another one, before this is over. 4th Amendment Text The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. Article 3, section 3, clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution specifies that the giving of aid and comfort to the enemy is an element in the crime of Treason. Aid and comfort may consist of substantial assistance or the mere attempt to provide some support; actual help or the success of the enterprise is not relevant. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1614499 United States 06/23/2013 09:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Apparently he is traveling with his woman Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42077842 'The Aeroflot agent said that Mr. Snowden is traveling with one other person, with the surname Harrison, but the agent declined to release the other traveler’s first name, saying that she did not have the authorization to do so. The closest adviser to Julian Assange, who orchestrated the release of the Wikileaks diplomatic cables three years ago, is named Sarah Harrison, prompting speculation that she was the Harrison on the flight with Mr. Snowden.' [link to www.nytimes.com] In the hours leading up to his death in a fiery car crash, a 'paranoid' Michael Hastings told WikiLeaks he was being investigated by the FBI, according to the whistleblowing website. A tweet sent from WikiLeaks yesterday claimed: 'Michael Hastings contacted WikiLeaks lawyer Jennifer Robinson just a few hours before he died, saying that the FBI was investigating him.' Anonymous Coward User ID: 42095518 United States 06/23/2013 09:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Some people seem to think, the govt went against the Constitution first on the 4th Amendment, so they are free go against Article 3 and support a traitor. Legally - both would be against the law. Who did wrong first is not a principle in law? Seldom would it get you forgiveness, but perhaps a lighter sentence. And if the courts found that the 4th ammendment had not be gone against, the supporters of the traitor would get a body slam. You just can't make this sh*t up. Any American supporting Snowden because of the Constitution is like a dog chasing their tail. |

Earoflot is a good airliner, new planes, good service and food. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42177244 And the price is right also. The good thing is, if things don't pan out while in Russia he can always fly back to HK. No way HK will deport him because they actually have a common law system that works to protect the rights of its people and refugees. If he is leaving Hong Kong, there is a reason why. |

The constitution was modified by the Bill OF Rights... My feelings about this are formed by seeing how the government picks and chooses who to prosecute. In my opinion the IRS has trampled on civil rights. Has one of them been prosecuted??? This present administration is following the Saul Alinsky rule book. I think it's criminal. |

Any American supporting Snowden because of the Constitution is like a dog chasing their tail. Knowing of a crime taking place and not doing anything about it is illegal. Knowing of corruption in the WH and do nothing is treason. People of the US are obligated to their governments condition of sanity. Should a domestic enemy present itself and a citizen does nothing, the citizen is breaking laws. In other words, it is illegal to NOT act if you are aware of a domestic enemy to the State. |

Sounds like a good legal defense and for a court to decide. |
