That was not the Samson Option. That was Solomon's decree over two women fighting over custody of a child. It was an attempt to discover the true mother, who would of course surrender custody to preserve the life of her child.

The Samson Option refers to a final act of destruction that kills ones self along with your enemies. Basically "If I am going to die I am going to take all of you with me."

Hence the OP's name "Solomons option."

I chose both. There are certain primal tendencies that "give life" to certain individuals. It is needed for balance. It serves for virility allowing us to reproduce and exist. How can we allow this to exist without it affecting the innocent who choose not to experience what to them would be trauma? There IS a way.

Imagine you are the one in Plato's cave. Let us say you truly cannot move at all but only watch the shadows on the cave wall that you erroneously think is reality. From your perception, it appears as the shadows, once again, what you mistake for "real" organisms, are violent and depraved.

The more you are hurt or affected by it only makes the violence increase. You are a sentient being that cannot "pro-actively" engage in it-you are like a flower or a tree. It is "killing" you to witness this. What can you do?

There is only one option. You must love yourself. You must be completely and independently whole. It would be like watching a destructive conflict on a far away planet light-years away. One could just allow himself or herself to become so despondent and negative which would only produce negativity in the life of that person and his or her friends and family in regards to something they cannot change anyway. Think global, act local. Was it the biblical Abraham, Abraham Lincoln, or a brahman who spoke of pleasing all of the people all of the time? We must emancipate ourselves and each be true to thine own heart. The rest will follow or wither away.

I am sorry I did not say so before, but "Joshua" had to learn "Wargames." One needs to see the destructive hatred that is spawned by the have and have nots. Then again, "you" all knew that before "I" did anyway.
