It's been a pleasure identifying various European hypocrites on this site who can't pass a US geography test and neither can their dumbass kids yet they expect America to be able to pass one from Europe.

Even though it's a considerably smaller land mass than america and serves absolutely no purpose for us to know because we can't drive there.

An acquaintance of mine from England who is 30, told me that some animals have gone extinct or become endangered during his lifetime because of the ever increasing population (due to immigration) intrusion into the animal habitat. The US immigration problem is massive, so I hope something will be done about it soon.

Yes but by bringing these third-world people into a first world nation their population is exploding.

Well wen we in europe build something its made to last, like houses, not like yours that fall down when wind blows.

This is the area where i got house at coast that is almost 60 years old and its still there, no damage.

I read a funny story once about a couple of Brits who arrived in New York with a plan to tour the United States.

They were going to drive down the coast to visit Miami and the Florida Keys, then drive over to Texas, then up the Mississippi to Chicago, then route 66 to California, and up the coast to Seattle, then back across the mountains and the northern states to New York for departure.

The American they recounted their plans to asked how long they were staying, and they said "a few days".

I wouldn't laugh at them for being stupid, although they forgot to check the mileage.

I took a short tour of Europe and I was astonished at how quickly I found myself in another country, which spoke a completely different language, and in another capital.

It really was a shocking blow to my imagination. It was so damned small. I was just as stupid as the Brits. I had never really bothered to look at a map and count the miles and compare them to the miles between places in America.

Europeans sometimes complain about the wastefulness of Americans, who consume too much fuel. But they fail to realize that we have to cover much greater distances than most of them can imagine.

It can be shocking to see it.

My sister married a man from Panama. When she first brought him to America, they flew to Florida, and drove to Chicago. The drive only covered a small portion of the entire continent, but all the way, her husband was stunned by what he saw. He kept shaking his head and saying "my poor little country".

He had seen movies, depicting American cities, and he too could have looked at a map and counted the miles, but nothing compares with the experience.

In addition to the experience, there is something called the economy of scale.

The scale of America demands a big economy.
