But from Cheryl' ning we have this gem: "I'm starting to get a little suspicious that Michio Kaku always seems to be on TV with rational answers to whatever mysterious phenomena happens to be taking place. Could he be a paid government debunker?" Or could it be that whichever mysterious phenomena happens to be taking place actually has a rational answer? I know. Very silly of me to even suggest such a thing. Thanks for posting this, Postman. |

The Straits of Gibraltar will widen by 125 miles, as Africa drops, and Morocco will move 50 miles further east. traits of Gibraltar will widen by 125 miles, as Africa drops, and Morocco will move 50 miles further east. Where the Sinai Peninsula is considered part of the African Plate, the Red Sea is clearly ripping open. Thus both the Red Sea at the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba tearing up into Jordan will rip open, leaving the Sinai Peninsula positioned like an island with few direct attachments As the top part of Africa tilts to the east, while it drops, S Africa will not strictly find itself 125 miles further south, but a few miles shy of that mark. Yes, this repositioning of the African continent happens during the 7 of 10 scenarios, but we have not yet addressed the speed with which this will unfold |

The changes are going to have to be non stop and very rapid to meet the criteria for this prediction. Or, the more likely scenario is that things carry on as usual, Indonesia will still be above water in a few days, South America will not "roll" (whatever that's supposed to mean) and there will continue to be earthquakes small, moderate and strong in known earthquake zones. The La Niña will continue to dump rains on places like Australia and Planet X and the Pole Shift will still be figments of Nancy's not very creative imagination. I notice Freaky started a thread where Nancy "educates" about deserts. Comedy gold. Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak. |

It is the heart of SEVERAL rivers which flow to the sea at Brisbane. ZetaTalk has stated that as the Indo-Australian Plate rises at the eastern edge (ongoing now) the waters are trapped at Queensland coastline and flow UP river. Thus, the flood at Toowoomba. [link to poleshift.ning.com] Nancy you are a fucking idiot Toowoomba has nothing to do with water flowing up river you fucktard its on very high ground and water would first have to go up through a bloody dam before getting to toowoomba how on earth did it do that we have had so much rain the news is all over it and the wall of water that happened has more to do with 160mm of rain falling in less than an hour than your bullshit Total FAIL You retard to those living down river of toowoomba start sandbagging the rain keeps falling and its said brisbane may flood worse than in 74 i apologize for the angry tone. |

He says the La Nina weather pattern, which is currently pushing monsoonal conditions over parts of Australia, is the same as the one experienced in the lead-up to the 1974 floods. "It's the same type of pattern in the Pacific Ocean. That was one of the major La Ninas," he said. "We had a similar pattern in 1954 and '55 and also back in 1893 and we've had a few slightly less intense patterns in the meantime - 1988, 2008 and a few intervening years that aren't quite as strong as this." Brisbane's defence The Wivenhoe Dam was built in the aftermath of 1974 as Brisbane's defence against another major flood. But even this may not be enough to prevent a disaster downstream. SEQ Water has been releasing 170,000 megalitres of water from the dam a day in preparation for flooding. The releases have led to minor flooding in communities below the dam |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1225179 Australia 01/10/2011 07:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Toowoomba is a city in South East Queensland, Australia. It is located 127 km west of Queensland's capital city, Brisbane Toowoomba sits on the crest of the Great Dividing Range, around 700 metres (2,300 ft) above sea level. A few streets are on the eastern side of the edge of the range, but most of the city is west of the divide. The City occupies the edge of the range and the low ridges behind it. Two valleys run north from the southern boundary, each arising from springs either side of Middle Ridge near Spring Street at an altitude of around 680 m. These waterways, East Creek and West Creek flow together just north of the CBD to form Gowrie Creek guess what it was the cbd that got hit worst Gowrie Creek drains to the west across the Darling Downs and is a tributary of the Condamine River, part of the Murray-Darling Basin. The water flowing down Gowrie Creek makes its way some 3,000 km (1,900 mi) to the mouth of the Murray River near Adelaide in South Australia. Rain which falls on the easternmost streets of Toowoomba flows east to Moreton Bay a distance of around 170 km (110 mi). guess what water is flowing as it should be heading both east and west of the ranges |

We have ascribed this set of changes to the approximate timeframe of a movement to a 7 of 10 on a scale of disasters, where 10 is the pole shift itself. Among the disasters was a widening of the Atlantic to the extent that water would rush into the void, and then rebound in the direction the Gulf Stream flows today, from the center of the Atlantic toward Europe. We have estimated this tsunami to be 200-300 feet in height, in wave form rather than a tidal wave, and moving at the typical speed that tsunamis move. Unless there is warning from ships at sea, this would be a surprise to Europe. Obviously, the Netherlands would be in serious trouble. end quote [link to www.myspace.com] "Anger is a wind that blows out the lamp of your mind" |

Pack food and water in your car now. Hope everyone stays safe in Aussieland. I was listening to the ABC stream last night and it's looking pretty bad. Probably going to be worse than 74, but before Nancy and her followers get so excited, maybe they should do a bit of research. Australia went through many years of drought before this, which is normal. Now the water has come, and that too is normal and cyclical, harsh yes, but not unheard of. It is a land of extremes. The problem is that so many people are living in dry creek and river beds, contractors build subdivisions there thinking that something like this will never happen, but the geological history of Australia says differently. There are species of fish and frogs that can bury themselves in the ground and go dormant for years during a drought and spring to life when the waters come. These floods are only a bad thing because people live in the way. If we take humans out of the picture, rains like the ones they are having are the lifeblood of the land. One of my room mates is from south of Brisbane on the Gold Coast. Last night he was worried that he might not have anything to go home to because the place where he has stored his stuff was getting hammered. But he is old enough to know that this is just how it is down there. I showed him Nancy's take on the situation and we had a really good laugh.
