"Volar" was waaayyy to 'slick' with that statement about the halted Earth. He knew exactly what 'he' was doing in setting up that confusion. He knew what was being asked and he knew how to mislead with his answer. He was simply playing with the poster who asked about the halted Earth claim. "Volar" is definately a plant or a true 'shill' for Zetatalk. He only plays 'dumb' for the effect and reaction it brings.

I do happen to notice that when her claims coincide with traditional science, that those claims tend to be more correct. When they clash with traditional science, they tend to be amazingly wrong.

Volar has as much understanding of the solar system and astronomy as Nancy does.

They will `track' no matter where you actually point them in the sky- as the tracking is done in the older models by a clockwork mechanism and the newer ones electric motors. However to actually get usable results ie pictures from them you would have to center them quite accurately (at least you mob in the northern hemisphere have the polar star to help, us lot south have to use compasses and figure out local deviation etc to get accurate results (which is why the `my compass is wrong' mob always make me laugh as well- it would show very quickly for the amateur astronomers in the southern hemisphere taking long exposure star shots)
