after reading the full minutes, I would have to say that either they are extremely unwise consumers (OK that IS a possibility) or the TT group is home to some people who may be `stretching the truth' as regards to their costs....

they are retiring the old unix servers as they `only' have 512Mb and according to nancy they need 7 Gb as a minimum..

even an old xp system is usable with 512Mb (how do I know- this is an old server I use as my home server- and its running xp pro on 512mb- slowly yes, but running it
on any unix/linux breed of o/s- it would (and does) absolutely fly)

the cd burning costs are quoted as 1.19 each burnt or twice that twin format

pure garbage...

even on this old server- (can burn 4 cd's at once) for the volumes they are asking. I can buy 100 cd's for 34 bucks from the local postoffice (NOT the cheapest supplier) so that works out @34c each to do a run of 500 would take just over 2 hrs
that works out @ a nice $1008 an hr if I was rodger.....

Moon and sun halos? What's so unusual about that? I've seen them most of my life. They're simply caused by very high, and very thin cirrus clouds composed of ice crystals that refract the light from the sun or the moon and cause the rainbow/halo effect. It's really quite simple. Neon clouds? I have no idea what the f&*k she's talking about there. Red dust sprinkled on snow? I feel cheated. In the three years I've lived in Colorado I have yet to EVER see red dust on snow. Monstrously large spider webs? How large is she talking about? The size of a house? Bird die offs? That's happened before. Rogue waves? Happened before, too. Signing reservoirs? WTF is she talking about there?

I loved her explanation for DST...she obviously forgot that regardless of whether the time was adjust three weeks early or not, any said "rogue planet" would still be visible because it would STILL be light outside at a time when most people are driving to work. And what difference would three weeks make anyway? God, she's stupid.

But you can't point these things out to her because you'll find your posts deleted and yourself banned. If any of her minions saw the posts before they were deleted and asked her about it, she'd simply tell them that any news or photos showing her claims to be false are all made up by the government.

I believe North Shore in HI gets waves that big on a regular basis as well.

I'd love to take credit, but really Max, she did this to herself. When you lie, scam and pretend to know about things you have no idea about and you do it all very publicly, your credibility will be destroyed on it's own merit or lack thereof. I can't believe you still defend her, even when you admit that her credibility has been effectively destroyed.

Yep, that's one of the advantages of UNIX/Linux...it doesn't require a large amount of memory to run. Windows 7 needs AT LEAST 1 GB to run somewhat smoothly (although still a bit slow). UNIX/Linux runs great on my old Gateway laptop with only 512 MB of memory. Sounds like someone was giving false information...perhaps in an attempt to get more funds that would be diverted elsewhere. Remember when Jan questioned the disappearance of money several years ago and Nancy kept changing the subject?
