Since the wife is a SQL (sequel) DBA, we thought about nicknaming our daughter Prequel and the new one Sequel.

If I ever have a daughter, I'll name her BETA.

Why don't you name her after her father's defining characteristic: Deadbeat Troll?

The OB/GYN my wife called (our last one is back in Tampa) said they don't do confirmation tests. Apparently, the tests today are so accurate there's no need. They told her if she tests twice and gets a positive each time, then she'd definitely pregnant. We've now tested three times...Thursday night, Friday morning and Saturday night. Every one of them came back positive.

That's a bit harsh. I actually got a chuckle out of it. BetaMax...which was killed off by VHS.

Figured out the source of the noise I'm getting on 80, 40 and 30M...power line noise and I don't have any above ground lines in my immediate neighborhood. So, I get to have the fun of contacting the power company and get them to resolve the issue. A lot of power companies are really funny about power line noise - the FCC mandates that they comply with regulations pertaining to interference from power line noise and yet they drag their heels about actually doing anything about it when it's reported to them. I have to do something - it's up to a 9 on the meter in the AM mode on the lower bands but drops off on 20M and up, although it can still be heard.

Melfy aka Zetamouth is a GLP "roleplayer". The "few" characters that ZM has used on GLP since coming to this forum often have "conflicting facts" from character to character. Research within the GLP site showed me evidence of these roleplayer characters of ZM. Regardless of what I found on ZM here though it is examples like the poster found above that outs ZM for the liar that he is.

First of all - just "who" (an AC from Finland???) REMEMBERS such a detail from 700 pages back??? Second - if no one actually remembered, than they must of conducted a SEARCH for that detail ... which begs the question "IS THIS SAME PERSON (or group of people) CONDUCTING SEARCHES OF **EVERYTHING** I SAY FOR CONSISTENCY???"

And if so ... WHY???

Dare I say it but the Melfster appears to have relapsed once again back into GLP Melfdown Mode. I mean we didn't need him to spin off into "conspiracy mode", although the GLP forum is the right place to do such a thing I guess, all we just needed was for Melfy to acknowledge(as you so aptly put it)that he tells lies on our thread. He's done it before; still doing it now; and will keep on doing it.

Here it is 18 days after Max lost his bet, and STILL no steak dinner gift certificate from him. I think we all know how this turns out.
