First astronomers thought it was a comet now it has been confirmed that the Green Comet is actually a Green Planet. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Or you people are just idiots who don't know what a comet is. A bright green comet with no tail, hmm, yeah, because that's never ever happened before... [link to www.flickr.com (secure)] Oh, I guess that means Comet Lulin was also Nibiru and not a comet... except wait, it grew a tail and that tail was visible in an image I took of it a couple of weeks later: [link to www.flickr.com (secure)] As for the "red kachina/blue kachina" bullshit, no, those are just background stars you idiots. [link to nova.astrometry.net] That's Jager's image of the comet and then a Palomar sky survey image of the background stars taken decades ago. Same stars, only difference is the comet's not there. |

You should also study things like prominence channels and coronal cavities as they are often misidentified as physical objects interacting with the sun. |

If you claim to have a college education in this, shouldn't you know how to process the data from the original raw fits files? Last Edited by Astromut on 09/14/2018 03:38 PM |

If you claim to have a college education in this, shouldn't you know how to process the data from the original raw fits files? I never claimed to have a degree in space-tardin'- merely filling-up some requirements. I did take several courses, however, largely due to the outstanding professor. He had written multiple books on the subject- he also seemed to admire my constant questioning and bafflement at what some might call 'fringe' topics associated with astronomy/physics- especially the moon. He even mailed me a signed copy of his latest book. Everyone gets an opinion, and while all opinions are not created equally, their veracity is certainly not predicated (or even influenced in some cases) by the length of letters following their names- of THAT I am certain. I've been catching some rays on my whitey white legs in the last few weeks...but in the last few days the sun is cooking me. I can't go out in it for any length of time. I recreated it myself and demonstrated what was causing it. I'm not basing my argument on the completion of a degree, I'm basing it on the facts. Last Edited by Astromut on 09/14/2018 04:01 PM |

Worldwide chaos will occur within hours of disclosure so trust me....we will all be conveniently left in the dark until it's so blatantly late and impossible to deny that the end is upon us. We all better hope that it's only some foreign hackers messing with us. If on the other hand it's a rapid breakdown of our sun or some other SHTF event it's probably better we don't know and can enjoy a few more weeks of life. |

Strange coincidence, with SOHO being down for weeks as well. I am sure someone will give me a long-winded scientific explanation as to how I am wrong on all counts. |
