My uncle works security at that hospital and he told me they caught a vampire from Clan Toreador trying to steal blood bags. The vampire fought his way out but was eliminated in the parking garage by a Society of Leopold hit squad.

OP.... You might have been right... But you probably underestimated our government, military, or whatever group... There is technology far beyond our understanding in the hands of powerful men and women. Just about anything can be covered up with the right technology these days. The people in charge of stopping monsters probably laughed at this attempt to become public. Think of all the terribly bad shit that could be happening all the time, on top of what's already happening... Monsters, mad scientists, real life super villains.... Why isn't it happening all the time all around us? There is no shortage of mad people??? We can't all be that sheepish right? Someone's running this whole show... I've never understood people who put this much energy into pushing this type of thing.
