The original post does not state, clearly and simply, what evidence will prove a globe Earth *to you.* Since you cannot say, I can only tacitly conclude you are not thinking rationally about the idea. You can cite *no evidence whatsoever* that could be presented to change your mind. That's irrational, on its face.




Since you can, quite literally, reject *any and all* opposing evidence with your criteria (and thus far have), it renders your claim worthless. You can state *no observation or test whatsoever* that would invalidate the idea to you.

So, satellites, GPS, accurate navigation, basic trig and spherical geometry, shadows on the Moon, or the fact that I've seen the curve firsthand all mean nothing to you. I understand. But I ask again, what *could* prove the idea to you? Your inability to answer does not belie a weakness in the globe idea. It belies a weakness in something else.

2) how far does the atomsphere go up in the sky and what is beyond it?

3) how is day and night created?

4) how do the seasons work on flat earth?

5) what holds the atmosphere in place?

6) where was the earth made?

7) who made the earth?

8) why are we on it?

9) How long is it supposed to last

10) can the earth be exited and where is the exit?

You do know they ancients had good measurement? They still use those records you know. All of them were linear measurement and geometry, not round earth. You would have to believe their tells of man in cave as they were building the pyramid if this was the case. They did teach this you know.
Do you believe this was true? Did cave men build the pyramids? Can you fly in a vacuum? If so how? Can you find was way to move in a vacuum? That what was taught, space is a vacuum, now the moon is in our atmosphere, does this fix the vacuum after telling for year and year and more years, that it was a vacuum?

I can believe they fly up there somewhere, not even a problem on a flat or round earth. You know when you say space it every where or anywhere, correct?

The biggest reason to study anything is for you to start to question the truth behind the teaching. Just because they teach it does not mean it correct. It has been taught in type of school books of all kinds, that later proved to be full of lies and misleading science or outright lies about many thing including history.

Say a monkey is not part of the family of man, they are not even DNA close, there are other animal closer to man than a monkey, or ape. Did we come from rat, or cows or dog, no we are a separate group and it special. Above All mankind are special. Animals are special as far as their kind, all other life is special even down to any blade of grass, only the most special is mankind, any and all mankind.

After seeing a lot of things that did not fit what was taught, I blame myself for being naive when I could have done some checking myself instead of just going with the flow. I Never want anyone taking my word for fact, no, study all yourself, try to measure it, or come up with a way of dividing the space around you into what could be a finer way to do so, measurement are pretty much up to what other men put out.

Here is on thing, say the measuring tool the ancients used is an astrolabe, it measures the sun in a type of triangle, and it would not be as high up, as is said that it is now.
They used that astrolabe for every type of thing from compass, measuring where the sun came up and it went down and where it went down, at all times of the year by day, and moon phases and where it was at any day or time of the year, this also was done with the stars. Time was also calculated on this same instrument. Now that has a lot of things for an ancient invention and no batteries, it all told time of day and travel ways and how to find their way home. Neat trick for those ancient cave dwelling, pyramiding, sailing ancients living in a cave. Rubbing two sticks together build a fire, then gathering beans near water, to eat, that what I was taught.

You can forget about the time line of mankind it way to far into the past. They could never have tested by carbon dating it they were around fish. Man did live near streams and water, they ate fish, too. Haven't you noticed man does live near water, as in we need water, there is food from the water.

You have to admit that those cave dwelling men were quit a miracle being able to do all that building, making all kind of things, from a cave. I am having some fun with this one.

I do not know how long man has been on earth, neither do they know, no way of truly knowing, we do know from the records of thing they found if they were telling the truth. They said they found items before the flood a list of kings not on Adam or from Adams family, it was another list, see the Adam and Eve was in a place God put them, then the others were out in the world, That was said from their list to be around 360 thousand years. Then Adams family, one of the sons went out there where these men lived, then after many generation the other part of Adam's family joined them.

Then some other group not of mankind or of mankind flesh came along. They were some kind of watcher said, to have been here to watch over man, not cause problems for man. Well, that was not good enough for some of them. I won't go into that, flood story is know in all of mankind even if they were living in wide parts of the world. Needless to say something to do with a large flood with a boat happened.

Do I know for sure, no, not about this, It does have some proof though, you have to put some weigh to it.

This is the way to learn, how much weigh is there for most thing we think we know or were taught?

The best is, try to prove what they said was true if it is not factual out it goes. If something is a theory, say it not fact, do not teach it as fact, which is still being done, teaching Theory as facts, bad form you know, not good.

I am lecturing now I guess, maybe not, I just saying, you have a brain, you have eyes and ears, hopefully all the parts to your body, use them to learn experience it yourself, be amazed and things that were see, and feel. I sure wish the light were less at night so you can see things in the night sky so much bigger than want is seen by most people in lighted areas. You see the night sky nowadays is like looking through the wrong end of a telescope making it tiny looking. It beautiful at night, with a large full moon so big you feel you can almost touch it, and the other night went the moon is dark, the stars are so bright and put on a show for you. This point I addressed citing the measurements between various Southern-Hemisphere distances between different cities on different continents. Those distances are flown non-stop, daily, by Qantas airlines. Those distance *cannot* be true on a flat Earth.

Another tangible measurement is with Southern Constellations.

Another tangible measurement is the Earth's shadow on the Moon during an eclipse.

Another tangible consequence -- that the Earth cannot be modeled accurately on a flat map. Distortions in distance *must* occur on any flat surface. Why would that be, if the Earth itself was flat?

Another tangible consequence - the laser experiment I linked to earlier which you (gasp) ignored and handwaved away.

You will, of course, handwave away these and other tangible measurements. It's what you do. It's also the reason why you will never give a concrete experiment or observation by which your mind may be changed.
