They do understand. Very much so. They probably see her in Spirit now but will miss her in person.

Hopefully Monkeyflowers body was not taken away to soon, and they were given a chance to say goodbye.

The family will have to talk with them, be there for them as they too acclimate to her passing.

Rest in peace.

I hope they will leave a robe or other piece of clothing for her fur baby.
