Where have you been all this time?
Thinking I would bump the thread and see if you will re-appear.

Have you started working on your Christmas season yet? I hope you will open the boulangerie. It's the time of year for bakers!

Today I'm going to bake poffertjes (little pancake) in an old cast iron pan. I think it has been 10 years since I made them. I'm already excited!5a

Bon jour. Do you have a great CRUNCHY cracker recipe that I could modify for gluten free use?

I tried to make my own crackers, but they always turn out like chewy cookies, not crunchy crackers!!

I don't know where I am going wrong. Oven not hot enough? Too much water?

Can you suggest how to mix the following ingredients (used in Mary's Gone Crackers Super Seed crackers) to make a CRUNCHY affordable cracker myself? Her organic crackers are great, but they are too expensive to purchase every week.

INGREDIENTS FOR CRUNCHY ORGANIC GLUTEN FREE CRACKERS
Brown rice (flour?)
Quinoa( flour ?)
Pumpkins seeds
Sunflower seeds
Poppy seeds
Flax seeds
Sesame seeds
Onion
Garlic

which city-region are you in, if you can say?

we visited south coast of France 12 years ago and it was beautiful

I really began to appreciate French culture, food, music

the people in the south appeared to be a bit more laid back and not as uptight as the people around Paris

Once upon a time, there was a webcam set up in a French bakery. It showed the bakers prepping dough, baking, rolling racks of bread around; it was fun to watch.

Do you have a publicly accessible webcam in your bakery?

Wonderful to see you back.

I had to cancel my trip because of the stupid confinement.
Can't even visit my MOF friend in Boulogne, much less so travel down to Côte d'Azur.

No worries. I'll visit whenever possible.

I think chances are that we will have a confined Christmas and New Year.

Macron's crisis management is a total fail.

I hope you are good.
This will be a busy month for you.

Not hard àt all except for the language. We kind of live like you in corsica, most of us have firearms, a lot of us own pickup trucks, not american brands but it's still pickups.
We like American people we have nothing against you folks. The only difficulty will be the language.
When there was no covid, there was a lot of American tourists in corsica and we welcomed them in a friendly manner.
