Agree. I watched a bank robber running from the police until he was more or less surrounded while standing on a sidewalk near a street. He was holding a leather briefcase which he reached into and quickly removed a .45 auto which he placed against his left temple and fired one shot through his head. He dropped like a sack of rocks and the bullet struck a street sign about 20' away and fell onto the sidewalk. I remember every detail of the event unfortunately.

Then again his actions did save the tax payers the burden of court and imprisonment costs.

Someone said to me recently that opposite of Love is not Hate, it's selfishness.

And it's had me reflecting.

The ego, which is a temporary mental construct we use to interact with this world is just temporal, an illusion, a fiction, a piece of mental clothing.

To deny love and adoration, to be ungrateful, to only see the worst in people, to deny God, to be a selfish self-centered prick, is to incarnate the anti-christ.

And so it's not really WHAT you do in my opinion. It's HOW you do it. Even murder can be Justified. But you do something evil like intentionally hurt others and piss on creation for selfish purposes... that's bad.

Intent is everything, I think.

If you were intentionally and knowingly bombing to kill children, you'd be culpable.

If there "happened to be" children where your bombs fell and you were acting on the orders of your superiors attacking a legitimate target, I think you'd likely be innocent of their blood.
