I would suspect one reason they cancelled those fireworks in the first place was to make it easier to jail people they knew would use them in opposition. One primary goal in controlling masses is to remove their most common weapons, no matter how innocuous they may otherwise be.

Just restrictions? How about deaths? Dead babies, women, elderly? Paralyzed? all messed up for life? Sterile? The fact that the people are targeted for termination?

There are ten more urgent reasons to rise than "lockdowns"

My boss told me I had to take a shot to keep my job. I didn't do it, I filed a religious exemption, and no one said anything, but then I quit a month later anyway, because everything was just too bizarre and uncomfortable.

I was peaceful about all of it and mostly very quiet.

Been gone from there for about a month and a half.

Lately when I'm reading all these controversies, I've let myself feel the anger and outrage that she thought she could dictate what medical treatments I had to be subjected to.

Who did she think she was?

It's not any kind of state or local law, there's no ordinance or mandate that applied to our situation.

They came up with that one all by themselves, willingly.

I didn't bother feeling expressing anger at the time because I knew any kind of argument would be a disaster and less than unproductive.

But now that I have some distance from the situation, I'm more appalled and disgusted and pissed off every day.

It was all so insulting and humiliating really.

To feel like I as some kind of leper when I was probably the healthiest person in the whole place.

I should soundtrack it with that Elvis Costello song "I'm Not Angry"

And although we still don't really know whatever happened to the Tiananmen Square "tank guy" you can just bet he didn't live long afterwards. In fact, during those 1989 Chinese peaceful protests it's estimated that the death toll was from the hundreds to the thousands, disproving there really is safety in numbers... unless you're heavily armed.

The quaint notion that you can just wave a crudely-lettered sign in the face of open tyranny and expect positive change is simply insane and about as effective as some blogger demanding the boycott of a product that causes them a skin rash.

While I'd never advocate that armed groups of militia should suicidally take to the streets and wantonly open fire on authorities, I also believe in the words of the Declaration of Independence that state emphatically it's not only our right, but also our DUTY to do so whenever our nation clearly becomes oppressive.

And until we restore honest, open elections to this world [an impossible dream in itself] our choices to enact lasting, positive change are dwindling every day.
