Spittin'Cesiumsays User ID: 14589973 Netherlands 04/06/2013 07:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Guys,This [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] is fucking intense! Quoting: Spittin'Cesiumsays 14589973 Behind looks cool also. You can see the major CME from the Norther regions on COR2 [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] but the bitches won't update that since 15:54UTC - We have it on COR1 Behind [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] in full. We also appear to have a Earthbound CME on COR2,it is faint, but it looks like it is coming this way. Now Kith. [link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov] :motherofgod: Sc, what is that flying out of the sun at 12 o clock at the start in cor2. Looks like a lil plasma ball and moves faster than any CME that I have seen. Good eyeball Da'! I watched it a few times over and if you lo0k you should be able to see that it travels perfectly along a Helmet Streamer - so it would have to be a tightly inclosed ball of Plasmas traveling very fast along this line. Go0d Eyes Br0! It helps to be a little Suspicious when viewing the Coronagraphs etc. as you may pick out things otherwise missed by others Is the standard model of the sun known to shoot plasma orbs? :lulz: Yes. Yes it is. Think about it for a Second. |
shadasonic User ID: 34416224 United States 04/06/2013 07:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Howdy, TruthSeeker! It's nice to see some flares after 8 days stuck in the B's. AR1719 is growing and 1718 & 1713 are now Beta-Gamma, so we can expect more flares soon. I think we will see some action my friend, its about time for some off kilter magnetic fields to start showing. Hey whats your take on Ison . I appreciate your viewpoint I think ISON is just a regular old comet. What makes this potentially a good one to watch is it's close approach to the sun, which some predict will make it be especially bright. I hope they're correct and we see an awesome naked-eye display. Don't fall for all the hype and hysteria though. The snakeoil salesmen just love a great comet....who could forget the 6000 Elenin threads here? Never judge Sol by Daily happenings! Long term is where it's at,really. Carrington could happen at anytime, regardless, for sure! The Convective motions below Sol which create the the primers that inform the Cycles ist Kaput(well, very slow) The polarities of the Sunspots at present is all sideways, lol, they do not look right at all, there is no doubt in my mind that this Cycle is it. Doesn't mean no CMEs' or Flares, but a lack of Sunspots worth their weight and a general lowering of Solar Winds and the decreasing Heliosphere/Cosmic ray influx and Atmospheric effects that come with a period of really epic non Sunnesses, lol. Solar activity was at low levels. Region 1718 (N22E33) produced the largest event of the period, a C1 flare, at 06/1142 UTC. Regions 1713 (N10W33)and 1718, classified as D-type spot groups with beta-gamma magnetic characteristics, both showed a growth trend over the past 24 hours. Region 1719 (N08E66) showed slight growth in its trailer spots, and was classified as a Cso-type spot group with beta magnetic characteristics. The other regions on the disk were either stable or decaying. No Earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed. No way at all. Just as with CMEs' and Flares = no Correlation or need for relationship at least. I think we can all agree that Solar Output is not normal, ergo Minima. Longer term trend Minima. Cesium, let me be more politically correct ... this being my first solar max, up front and personal that is, I'm keeping an open mind The historical data may show a minimum trend, as seen in the past I agree, but ...... until we know the catalyst. The historical data doesn't tell us why the sun goes to minimum or maximum, why,or for how long. Just that at times it does.
