Being gay and being Christian are NOT mutually exclusive. God does not condemn those who seek to love and care for and nurture and support their fellow human beings while on this planet.

Look in the bible at the story of David (the king of Israel) and his "friend" Jonathan and the great love that bloomed between them. There are Psalms written by David about his love for Jonathan. And more. Read and learn! Two men loving each other, caring for each other and nurturing each the other - there is NOTHING in the scripture to prohibit this and in fact it is actually praised.

The wholesale promiscuity that was once part and parcel of the gay world is NOT what we are built for. The exchange during sex is far more profound and far deeper than most of us dream. The idea is that a piece of your soul is exchanged with the other person. Such an exchange works best when it is with one partner for a lifetime.

With all due respect, I don't understand how anyone can be a gay Christian, unless you reject most of the Bible. Sure, Jesus never said anything about it, but Paul did, and so did the OT in more than one place. The Bible is pretty clear about homosexuality. I'm actually really interested in how you rationalize it.

Especially since back in the day, there were no hard and fast definitions like there supposedly are today. Greek men had sexual relationships with other men as equals, with boys as teachers, and with women as breeders, and that was all considered just fine. Romans too. The Israelites may have pretended to be horrified, but look at how they treated women. They were more disdainful towards women than the Greeks, even. I bet men married each other all the time. Religions have to make people feel guilty for being themselves...because that is the one thing that people cannot help...and if people think that they will be punished for this unless the "believe," then they will believe and spread the virus.
