But US warship movement was definitely in the works and specific forces stationed in the gulf were on 5min alert.

The armed citizens of the USA can do a much better job than our joke of a military. someones shoots at you no need to call the commander and get permission to shoot back, just open up on the invaders and give them a severe case of lead poisoning.
