Iraq an economic Study

I'm in the school that has no idea what order things have to happen, and isn't going to try and prognosticate anymore because I'm always wrong. ;)

I'm just hoping they don't show up, have a quick fight, and adjourn for a month.

That would be about par for the course.

Here is is my fortune telling story... True!


Just after my sister died an Indian (Pakistan origin maybe) came in my business and insisted that I needed my fortune read. So, not wanting to irritate this older man, I agreed as a diversion from my day and thoughts of my sis.

He was a bit hard to understand and had a strange manner of speaking and phraseology. I had to clarify many times about what he was asking of me and telling me.

He wrote down on a piece of paper... 30, 60, 90 at the start of this "telling". I had to figure out what that meant... well... it was the fee for his fortune telling. I offered $10 and gave it to him. He accepted. lol

He said I had family problems and I said "who doesn't these days?" I then said that I really didn't other than my sister dying... and my dog ... and that my cat went missing all in the past month or so. So... I took that telling as a miss instead of a hit.

To make a long story short, he put his finger to his mouth as if to shush me and said I have to be less frank. haha.,.. I said that isn't happening!

He looked at my palms and my face and eyes and said some things I wasn't really clear about. IE.. Heavy accent and ways of speaking.

He pulled out a picture of about 30 yogis (as he claimed), put it in my hand and wrote down more money on paper to give to them. I said I have my own yogi(Mooji) and that Mooji doesn't need or ask for money from me. So... he realized I wasn't going to give him $125 for the yogis.

Moving along....

Then he said I would have 2 businesses soon. Being that I am a frank person, that he feels I should be less of, I commented that I surely didn't need another one!

He then said that in October I would be wealthy. Now that perked my attention and I did not speak out about that.....no more frankness from me! haha

I gave him his yogi picture back and thanked him so he could get on his way. He indicated that he would be back.... don't know why. However.... If I am wealthy in October, I will give him his Yogi donation!

Never saw him before and not since his demanding that he read my fortune.

So my friends... shall we take this an October RV??!! :)

He kept chanting things in another language when he did this face and palm readings. He would write numbers down and then ask me questions and then show me what he wrote as if to say that he read my thoughts or my future or something. Odd fortune telling technique. I couldn't follow what he was doing.

This was truly an odd thing I must say. He like came out of the blue. I am pretty aware of the events and people in my business location and this guy was certainly oddly placed. We have mostly Hispanic origin in my area as well.

I have so much intel don't know where to begin.. and two personal bank stories some of which one can be shared and the other not. Let's just say it's happy dance time. Discovered our personal bank will be doing the CE here and are ready to go. Got the rate from another source who personally saw it.. not saying what it is just because we don't know if it will change when the RV goes international. No use getting everyone ecstatic only to be disappointed later.

So I'm starting with some other bank stories because they're always a fun read.

The rate is there and it is connected to the system because it now fluctuating, not a place holder - also, that they still expect to make apps starting tomorrow and absolutely will do private groups and negotiate above and beyond. I have a group appointment asap. Also, when we were told that they are on high alert, he shared that any employee the has a screen receives dinar status reports Every 20 to 30 minutes from corporate. Hey288 yes, it means it is in the international system, just not traceable yet. So I hope that helps a little but it does verify a lot of our Intel. This is from the Branch manager at Wells Fargo.

Ok guys been putting off telling you guys this. But i'm going to tell u all. This morning my brother told me he had a order with one of the dealers, he paid for 10 days ago. My brother is a truck driver, so when he got in and his order had not come, he call them this morning. And ask the lady where is order was. She said well since the rumor was out that the rv was coming, we've been back up with orders. So my brother said ok, but what if we rv today/tonight and we only have 30 days to c/e want you all going to do. she said we're in the process right now sitting up places people can go pick them up . said the places would be in the metropolitan areas. Bank story: a friend went to cash a check and was asked if she wanted to open an account. The teller told her to have a seat and the personal banker will be there any minute. She overheard the Branch manager and other WF employee talking about the dinar and said it was gonna go through Tonight and they were gonna be rich tomorrow.

[mort] CLEARED THIS UP- Just talked with my guy at 12:45 pm today and he said the rate will be announced later on today he thinks after the markets close and I JUST called him back to clear up this part....& "HIS #7 Dinar Traders" stopped selling dinar last night at 6 pm - HE HAS DONE HIGH YIELD TRADES WITH THE SAME GUYS FOR YEARS! Also there are people still celebrating in Reno and he will be in Reno on Monday to do HIS HIGH YIELD TRADES, so he said we are looking very good for things to happen LATER ON TODAY! Not a lot of news because there is not a lot to do but one thing. Time frame yes.. and it continues. Everyone at the banks are on stand-by right now.

Iraq has calmed down a bit and been given a time frame when there cards are to go international.. still on target for that time for them. Can be a great day. Don't know what the rates are today. Going to be good weekend.

Couple of bank stories today - asked the banker about the currency and what's going and the banker is saying we're hoping to see it all today. There is no appointment for Dong. The system was finalized yesterday and is ready to go at a moment notice. Things are looking good. They ran the CIX all the way through and it's not the Forex.. it's attached to the Forex and lets the banks know every time the rate changes.

Monday morning is the longest Tony thinks this will go.

When you call the 800# they will ask you for you name, your zip and how much you have. They will tell you which location to go to do your currency exchange.

Once your initial deposit is in your account don't wire out in the first 30 days more then $500,000 or it could be held up.

What would be the things that you personally would ask for.

You know this is the ceiling rate and I know that is the ceiling rate so I want that. I don't want to pay any spread, points, fees.. you're going to make more off my money .. so I want all the perks, get my black credit card, concierge service.

During our appointment the bank will also tell us what to watch out for with regard to Homeland Security.. use card, cashiers check, etc.

The banks are going to try and charge fees but you can negotiate about that because they don't have to and you can go somewhere else where they won't.

Optimum time to RV is 11pm-5am EST

Way to not have the IRS not freeze accounts is to pay them (IRS) with a cashier's check ASAP.

Iraq's cards and the RV will go international together. The cards are suppose to go international today. (we'll see)

7 pm pt Islandshopper: I know we're not suppose to call the banks and I didn't.I own a business and my wife is in the bank nearly evey day. She knows all of them on a first name basis. She was at the teller window and asked if they exchanged foreign currency. The teller said that they did and happily printed out a list from her screen with 22 different currencies (all international). The kicker is the IQD is one of them. Time 10:04am today. The IQD was never mentioned. I also know this is my first post. My sister got me into the dinar a little over a year ago. I just found TNT recently and am very glad I did. Great people here. I'm not much of a poster, but thought you should know. I have document in hand. Trying to figure out how to post a picture of it.

Since it is now on a bank screen, with an actual # next to it, must mean it is getting ready to go!

I told her I had quite a bit of VND and believed it was about to revalue. She asked me to hold while she called the main branch. When she came back she said it would be no problem to exchange and the manager new all about the pending reset. For giggles I asked her if they were dealing in the IQD she looked it up in her system and sure enough it was listed the current rate is 0.00079 to exchange. 12:00 PM PT (loechin] OK here it goes.... The train pulled up to the station the first class folks got off made their way to the building to do their business and have now left the building. The business select folks have entered the building and there are a few still left doing their business.

We are the regular class folks and as soon as all the business class people are gone then my buzzer will go off.

It has reached a point where if it doesn't occur soon the I.M.F. Is going to step in and facilitate the situation. It is true there were celebrations (pre-emptive?) taken place late in the week. There are also indications some whales will be accomodated early next week. Some have already deposited their currency and received S.K.R.'S (safe keeping receipts) which will become active the moment the currency goes international. Once again as i said before--time is on our side. We can only receive when it is given. (sounds scriptual but it isn't). We live in hope of the coming week that something appears for us all. ---blessings

Hi Everyone,

Very nice Saturday indeed in southern Germany and especially nice since we are about to see our blessing very soon. Let me explain.

I want to tell you the news I am hearing from Iraq today and from the IMF sources. I will try to do it in a manner in which we all can understand and appreciate.

First let me say this IQD currency was supposed to go international on Thursday 8/15.

I have overwhelming proof of it. There were negotiations, compromises and final agreements made to make it so. But where is our revaluation?

Where are the live rates at the banks? We should have had 2 days already of exchanging at the banks. Believe me I am just as disappointed as you. I was standing back seeing if this would really take place or not.

So just as I was ready to start making some calls my phone rang. I will now explain what I was told.

As we know there is some monkey business going on behind the scenes in the USA as you would have to be a complete idiot not to realize this by now and I know TNT members are not idiots.

This stuff may be to the best interest of the USA but what about the rest of the world? I cannot speak directly of what is happening but will tell you in the long term it will be all good for USA but holding this up longer will only hurt Iraq and other countries even more. To me it seems very selfish.

So let me tell you that the ongoing saga with the prime minister Maliki and his corruption continues. The Shites in parliament put out a statement this week noting that it would not be in the best interests of Iraq to revalue their currency until 2014. They did the same in 2012 and pointed to early 2013. Do you remember?

Well is now August 2013 far beyond early so what happened? They are of course trying to stall again and hope to keep everything status quo until the 2014 elections. Maliki really has high hopes of a third term.

Of course this was not taken lightly by the CBI, which followed this statement with one of their own. Their statement is in so many words and said (I do not quote) - are you nuts? As a nation our economy has already lost billions and stands to lose much more if we do not revalue our currency internationally and do it NOW!

So we can see the pressure is building in Iraq. It appears the IMF is on their side too.

In the IMF there was much noticable disappointment today that the revaluation did happen on Thursday night.

Many very important statesmen and dignataries were at hand thinking this was over and began celebrating yesterday.

Some are even awaiting and anticipating the activation of their accounts that were placed on hold last week when the rates went live for a very short period in the USA.

Its like having candy dangling at your mouth but you can't have it....not yet...Some of these people you don't want to disappoint either.

From what I am hearing this is coming to a pressure point where if this does not revalue and go international this coming week, the IMF may have to step in and force it.

How will they do that? There are two plans- One plan I hear it to work with the USA and get it done, the other, I hear is to take the $3.44 rate and use it as the initial rate and just put it out on a float.

S**** the USA. Sorry for being so blunt but that is the attitude I am hearing. Will this happen? The IMF can do this since legally since it will be at the request of the country of origin. At this point I would be very thankful to get this. I would run to the bank.

I think we are still in a very good position to see this revaluation happen very soon either way.

I believe from what I am hearing they too are tired of the constant delays caused by the USA. Yes it is the USA.

The truth will come out when this is over and I think even now that you may be disappointed for now for the wait but for the good of your country you will enjoy what has been negotiated in the long run.

The Reno info confuses me. I think the whales when there to CE early only to be left with deposit slips where they can't access any funds until the RV goes international... which should have happened last week. If this is not completed by Monday the IMF will release it at the $3.44 rate. Meanwhile the US has been holding up things working to get a higher rate in the double digits. We shall see who wins this power struggle in the coming week.

Hey...just wanted to offer my condolences. One of the toughest deaths I ever dealt with was the loss of a young cousin in an accident. I hope you and your families find peace.

So sorry to hear that YT. It is hard t deal with realizing how much pain a person is in to do such a thing. One always guesses what one could have done to prevent such a tragic loss. :(

8-17-2013 Newshound Guru Stryker One of my friends working out of Kuwait City that is with one of the major Oil Companies that also does oil production work in Iraq, has told me a few weeks ago that they started to resign all their old production contracts under new oil contracts. This must be done before new contracts can be signed under the new Oil & Gas Law (HCL), is what I’ve been told.


8-17-2013 Newshound Guru Stryker So the only logical conclusion IMO is that the Oil and Gas Law is or close to being finalized and approved by the Iraqi parliament upon their return or why else would this be going on? When I asked him if he knew this to be the case he just said, it shouldn’t be hard to draw your own conclusion from this! With this very good news and the fact that the Economic Reform Law was approved by Maliki and the CoM (Council of Ministers) and awaiting parliaments return, this is gearing up to be one interesting few weeks IMO.

SATURDAY EVENING UPDATE FROM TNT HIMSELF (TONY) Good evening everybody I would like to once again say what a great post by MTN GOAT. On Friday I told you that you could thank the world for a $3.44 rate and thank the USA for a double digit rate, If the ego's were put aside and an agreement was reached. I want you all to know that there is no technical problem with the system, the rate is at the banks. Iraq has done all they can do, it is only being made to look like they are the problem. The Maliki situation is fully under control and a plan is in place. The problem is first an internal one.....and then us against the world. The world is tired of our internal situation being placed above the concernes of the rest of the world and as soon as the threats to do this without us are taken seriously, instead of as just blowing hot air, we will see an international rate. It is still possible to see this happen before the weekend is over. Stay positive, this will happen. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Here we go again with more articles like this. Looks like there may be a chance that we may be waiting a bit on this. Anyone know when the next parliamentary elections are??
After all the only thing I have read in any of the Iraqi papers considering a date on the currency is 2014, although we are pushing this to be in the near future. Just wish it had been stated by what they mean by the near future.



Financial postponed parliamentary delete zeros

Revealed the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, the postponement of the process of deletion of zeros from the currency until after the next parliamentary elections, while confirming that the government is demanding guarantees for currency Replaced not return to markets and forgery. While economic affairs specialist considered that the reset will reduce the currency and financial corruption cases facilitates transactions in the local market.
Chairman of the Committee said Haider Abadi, that «the Finance Committee supports the replacement of the currency and delete the zeros because it will facilitate the calculation process», adding that «the possible deletion of zeros from the current currency, but it has been postponed until after the parliamentary elections. He added Abadi that «the government Committee agrees opinion, but it is demanding guarantees from non-forgery or reference currency in the markets», adding that «the large number of zeros generates errors, and if they have been deleted Snqll errors and deal be easier», stressing at the same time that «what we it is the study of safeguards to reduce fraud or return of the currency markets. The CBI said, in that there is no intention at this time to restructure the currency and deleting three zeros of them, denying reports that in this regard.

There will always be Guru's pumping...if not about the dinar then it will just be another currency. To bad they are so selfish and only think about there sales. It just amazes me that some people are so blind as to not be able to see through them. You would think that with them calling RV every other day for the past couple of months that some of those people intelligence would kick in.
Have to admit though that I do read there post and have recently learned to get some good laughs out of them. Those Guru's remind me of David Koresh the Cult leader in Waco, Texas with all his followers.

Ty Mun, Yea it is sad...I was completely out of his personality to do this as he was one of the strongest and happy people I knew. Guess we will never know why.

Edit...we will know why in time as he left an individual note to everyone he loved so dearly and those are still be given to those he addressed them too.
