World at War, Official 2012 Thread for Israel, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, PA, Turkey, Egypt, Pakistan, India, North Korea, Russia, China, U.S.
In continuation of a series of years of World at War,the following was the 2011 thread. Thread: The World at War, Official 2011 war thread for North Korea, Iran, Israel, China, U.S.

Now we enter into 2012. Follow the past year to see where we are at. I try not to give much BS and only ask that if you do not care for the topic or format, do not visit this thread.

Indeed 2012 will be the start of much chaos economically as well as militarily. We start off with much doom and gloom already.

Israel must face the challenge of a nuclear Iran with or without the U.S. to protect her. Further, Syria feels threatened as did Libya where Assad may lash out at Israel. The Hezbollah may too jump on in. Lebanon and Jordan may face their own arab spring. Egypt may tear up the Israeli peace treaty. Turkey looks as Israel with jealousy for Israel's gas and oil reserves in the Med.
China and Russia wish to impose retrictions on America's once global dominance where there will be more challenges to U.S. interests leading to possible military blows.
North Korea's tender young leader has no fear in challenging U.S. might and may cause further military adventurism.

Pakistan has nukes that could be stolen and/or Pakistan and the U.S. may enter into more vis a vis hotile interactions.

Iran is threatening to challenge the west and is due for a nuclear detonation soon. What the U.S./and or Israel do to stop Iran is worthy of watching every day.

Iraq is now under Iran's thumb and likely will further become a feifdom of Iran.

Afghanistan is soon to force the withdrawal of U.S. forces.
India and Pakistan may soon come to blows.

Will the global economic crisis resolve itself or whom may come forward with some new currency?

Further, spiritually, 2012 looks to be a year of turmoil.
There are seers warning of some type of sign from God this coming year. The Mayan's seemed to predict something. The Pope may flee Rome? A comet in the sky? Great earthquakes? Signs in the sky?

Look further at bug-outs or going grey, everyone should be prepping by now in case things really do go bad. I am just saying.

So, if you wish to discuss the above mentioned or wish to hear it from others, feel free to drop in and leave some good 5 stars if you find this inforomation either entertaining or productive.

China:

It seems there is some distance between assesments of China by the U.S. and those by other sources that seem to be strange. The U.S. administration seems to paint China as becoming exceedingly dangerous, that China may siruptc waterways, they in fact will attack Taiwan, and wish to war the U.S. imminently. At the same time, there are outside the U.S. assesments that paint China as misunderstood and that the U.S. is in fact putting China in a box as a way of politics to make other nations surrender to the U.S. positon of we will not play games and share toys with you. Seems South Korewa and Japan have some heavy inlfuence on the U.S. We do see evidence of China hiding its nuclear might as well as not putting pressure on North Korea where she could. At the same time, China has not sought to foreclose on its U.S. debts yet and China has not achieved some strategic confrontation with the U.S. yet. Why is Obamah pushing for confrontation of China if China is a paper tiger? Why does he not push Iran?
Do not get me wrong, Chinese leaders seem to be pushing for living space and brides from the American west. They are pumping many dollars into their military. But, we are still way ahead of them on the amount of dollars from the economy being pumped into military might. They do act secretively on nukes, spying, and what they may intend to do with North Korea.
I do not trust any communist state. China is not a paper dragon but is not ready to be a global power either. They study the art of warfare and are great at deceiving. I simply do not know why Obamah is pushing for a confrontation with this nation now verses build up defenses and prepare down the road. The U.S. needs to get rid of the nuclear islamists first.
Results of the U.S. push are that China is now more aggressive than perhaps she would be. Is it purposeful to help China decide to economically punish the U.S.? I am very unsure of O's goal on all of this. All I know is China wishes to protect her interests in Iran.
Are we going to see 400 million Chinese cme to the MiddleEast? Perhaps they will now - better there than the west coast of North America.

WWII for the Americans only lasted 3-1/2 years and it was the bloodiest to date.

Eighteen years until WWIII is very optimistic considering the exponential growth in tensions between nations and religions.

I must say we were lucky tog et through the last two months without all-hell war breaking out. Getting throuhg another year and two days seems like a mighty hard accomplishment in the short view of things.

For example, Syria right now is facing the greatest civil disobedience since the arab spring began. Assad is now getting mighty nervous. His finger is getting very jumpy on calling his generlas who are left and saying execute the attack plans on Israel. But another four or five days of this and he will ahve no choice!

 Quoting: Stu

Sources are sources whom I shall not burn. I cannot even say more than that as the govt is watching every move. But they must prove the divulging of classified or secret information. Remember the kid in Alaska who warned his parents of an impending war. He was charged with treason several months ago. Mossad kills sources. Enough said.

When one culls from the media, where do they cull? CNN and FOX are the last to know and they merely regurgitate the obvious as they wish for us to see it. Israeli news sites are good but sometimes delayed and always censored. Many blogs and other sites bring forward information fast, but you must be able to eliminate the background noise and calibrate the BS meter.
Hate to say it but GLP sometimes is right on first and I can assert there is a DOD agent that uses that as an alarm bell that something has been leaked.

Although trying to avoid it, war will break out in 2012. At the beginning it will be a battle, then it will be calm. This battle will heat up again later in the year. Then russian boats will face off nato boats. (predicted long time ago)

The euro will not collapse, but there will be a north and a south euro (this is the titanic prediction for the euro zone for 2012). The euro division will be done during the summer time. Expect international economic diffuculties during this time.

Israel will be save this year, some normal battles but not a nation threatening event (bible prediction). Iran will test its first nuclear weapon in the first half of the year of 2012 (my prediction).

Assad will fall. Syria will be divided temporaly. They will have a sunnite president, more or less moslim extremist. They will claim back the golan (my prediction)

Obama will win the elections. The right wing US will become more right wing and more extremist. Obama will be the war president (my prediction).

We will survive xmas 2012. ICE will once again prepare for the ascension (heheheehhe)

There will be a big war and it will cost us a heavy price. It already has started. But it won't affect us in 2012 (my hope).

:-) The Time has not come yet .....

It will be interesting to see if we can't make it past the next 48 hours. With the Iran Naval Exercises, reports of "Western" aircraft violating exercise areas Iran has declared in international waters, two ignored warnings followed by one STERN warning which repelled the aircraft, posturing of the 5th Fleet and issuing demands on Iran as to which areas can and can not be blocked..... this is the make-or-break for the immediate future.

IF we get past this next 48 hours and then a week, we may be ok.

That's a pretty big IF. We aren't talking about North Korea sabre rattling. This is a determined Iran (it's leaders anyway) and I'm not so convinced they aren't fully backed by another ex-superpower nation.

It almost seems like two boxers in a fight, waiting to see who will flinch or strike first. Get our 5th Fleet in the same pond as Iran's Navy, and all bets are off. US will win, but this is the immediate threat for certain.

China has too much financial interest in the US... it is unlikely that China will do anything to stop the flow of US dollars in for China Exports out to the States.

North Korea: With the recent death of Kim Jong Il, this should prove interesting, however, it's not likely that North Korea should prove to be any more a threat than it has been, which is, not much of one other than to South Korea and US interests, assets and personnel stationed there.

African violence is sheltered away from Egypt and less likely to create a regional or World War.

Falklands even if went nuclear by Britain could still remain isolated in nature.

Serbia, not much chance the christians will win out verses the muslims and the UN. Though this could be a flash-point my bets are that Russia would not go nuclear over Serbia verses Iran and or Syria.

Brother Adam, Wuerzburg 1949:

"The war will break out in the southeast, but that is only a ruse. Thus the opposition is to be misled; Russia long prepared its plan of attack. Each Russian officer has the movement order already in the bag and waits only for the word. First, the main thrust is effected against Sweden and is directed then against Norway and Denmark"

.........

"At the same time sections of the Russian army will advance by West Prussia, Saxonia and Thuringia to the Rhine, in order to gain control of Calais and the Channel coast. In the south the Soviet army will join the Yugoslav army. Their armies will confederate to break in to Greece and Italy. The Holy Father must flee. He must flee fast, in order to escape the blood bath. Cardinals fall and bishops too are victims. Then they will try to advance by Spain and France to the Atlantic coast in order to unite with the army fighting in the north and to complete the military encirclement of the European mainland. The third Russian army, which task it is to occupy the left blank areas and to strengthen inland communism -- head office of the communist world government should not be Moscow, but Bamberg -- will be used no more, because the army is disturbed in its advance due to the revolutions in the south and is in rapid dissolution, while a great monarch determined by God will attack the army in the north at the Niederrhein and overpower it with the most modern weapons."

Obamah has signed into law new sanctions that are going to be tough on Iran and any nation that trades with the Iranian Central bank. Before one gets too concerned, the majority of the law does not go into effect for three to six months. At the same time, Iran could take this as a shot across its bow and decide to react in the am in some fashion unseen so far.

this wont do a thing as China will accomodate them nicely, bypassing the Anglo/US/Euro banks and giving further argument to do away with the current corrupt monetary system

and if they do oil sanctions, that only hurts everyone driving up the price of oil

I started explaining the index back here:
Thread: The World at War, Official 2011 war thread for North Korea, Iran, Israel, China, U.S. (Page 16)

Good things take time, or bad things sometimes are slow to develop.
An FYI for you all, DEBKA is noting what many already know, Iran is developing nukes at a quickened pace and are expected to have five nukes wihtin a couple months. Thus the dusty long left open window will only remain open over the next two months for an attack, some say.

Based upon events and all, I have developed a scale from 1-11 for regional war in the MiddleEast where 1 is long cherished peace and 11 is all out war.
(slightly higher risk). WiCURRENTLY, TODAY, THIS HOUR, THE WAR INDEX IS AT 6 th Hamas occasionally launching missiles at Israel, Assad being clamped down by former allies, and the risk associated with Iran out there, today there is a slightly higher risk of a regional war. At the same time, I do not expect Israel to hit Iran today. Unless Hamas starts launching multiple long-range missiles or terror attacks create multiple casualties, the PA will not ignite a war today. Hezbollah shall hold its reigns today. Syria is the wildcard as to what will happen to Assad as he wishes to save his ass. Iran is not ready to provoke anything today.
