Kauder from Merkel's party is now saying on Spiegel that Samaras govt has done more than anyone else in Greece! lol
Wipe the foam from your mouth you hypocritical retard, nothing has been done regarding reforms and obligations for 5 months here, you'll just get more contracts for your beloved companies.

EU budget talks failwoohoo
[link to www.europeanvoice.com]

New talks have tentatively been scheduled for Tuesday (13 November) - just hours before a deadline for the adoption of the current draft budget. But officials and diplomats say that a deal by Tuesday appears unlikely.

The break-down casts a shadow over a special EU summit on 22-23 November where national leaders are supposed to agree the EU's multi-annual financial framework for 2014-20.

Agreed, austerity is starting to hit UK and they don't earn as much as Germany from this EU thingy, they are doing the best to protect their people and i fully agree with this, wish our own tards here done the same for a change. This is news actually for more than a month, at least i learned about it at that time, but MSM managed to keep this undercover for all this time. EU is doomed if the new budget won't pass. Great news!

I think the talk that UK will not accept the budget is known from the summer. Of course no one talks about that. EU is doomed for sure. Now the thing is what Merkel will do about it. Problems with the UK problems with the IMF (i.e. US) problems with France. I read somewhere today that Merkel thinks to place some people to check the course of the France economy.

French economy is seriously doomed, read the article the other day who was calling French economy the elephant in the room, no one is talking about it loudly yet, but there's plenty of doom in there. If France won't play ball, Angela will check them, very interesting times. You can add World Bank (currently China) in the problems list. Didn't know budget was news since summer, most of the people are oblivious about it.

Is Greece the new Syria?
I copy from Defencenet.gr as it is not possible to add a link

And suddenly Foundation "supranational" "Crisis Watch" as in Syria!
11/10/2012 - 23:24
11

One curious case evolves with the introduction of that noteworthy ELIAMEP funded by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs a "Crisis Centre" for Greece, which strongly resembles the corresponding observatory founded by Syrian dissidents undefined funders.

As the announcement of the institution seeking ELIAMEP 'researchers to staff the new Crisis Observatory will begin operations on January 1, 2013 with the support of S. Niarchos Foundation. " As the announcement of the institution, "The main objective of the Centre is the systematic monitoring and analysis of economic, political and social aspects of the crisis in Greece and Europe in general, and factual information, and intervention in public debate at home and abroad" .

In simple words, as stated in the notice the "Crisis Watch" for Greece will not only gather information and investigate the economic and social problems of the crisis experienced by Greece, but unsolicited and without any institutional position will take positions and intervene in debate both in Greece and abroad.

It is essentially yet another case where a research Foundation seeks to shape public opinion in Greece and abroad, an issue taking advantage of the access that has been in media centers and opinion leaders, as indicated in the Communication Foundation, part of employment of researchers of the program will be "Networking with the media and other relevant organizations in Greece and abroad - presentation of positions and views on the crisis in Greece, intervention in public debate, promoting the work of his team ELIAMEP via the Internet '.

The most interesting is that the communication does not indicate the true reason for starting such a program which as presented raises many questions about its mission, given the track record of such an "observatory" in other countries for monitoring and handling "crisis" there or could arise.

As demonstrated similar efforts in Russia which were interrupted by the Russian government, but as himself G. Soros had confessed to CNN in November 2009 to create parallel NGO and political activities in one country may not be so innocent purpose.

As stated in a report in CNN «Soros: In revolutionary times the impossible becomes possible» ( [link to edition.cnn.com] ...) the He oungroevraios tycoon, in 1984 founded the first NGO in Hungary to internal erosion of Hungarian society and the communist regime. Characteristically said Soros, the institution with a budget of $ 3 million had greater influence on the Hungarian society than the state itself.

Of course it could be argued that the catalytic ELIAMEP seeks guidance from the Greek political leadership and the Greek people. But nowhere in the statement does not indicate the true purpose of this program, leaving many unanswered questions in the days could be described as critical and evil .....
