It's starting folks. This is beyond anything I could have imagined. WTH else is in that bill?

How are other people feeling impacts of this bill?

towards the end of this year, when there's a mass exodus out of this country, and you wire money out of the country...

in that bill, the receiving bank must return 30% of your money to the IRS. This is not to pay back taxes. This is your penalty for leaving the country....

and trust me, there will be a mass exodus once the sheep wake up....

The Affordable Care Act has no such provision.

You must be thinking of existing Federal law reguarding "renouncing your citizenship".
There is a 30% penalty for when you do that.
And that was set into law years before the black man
became President.

I'll look for it, but like I say my friend emailed me this morning about it and I haven't yet researched it myself. I'll let you know if I can find it - probably not using the word 'felony' would be my guess but penalty would be equivalent - just my gut telling me that. I'll also write my friend back and see if I can get the reference. I'll post as soon as I hear anything.

And for the grammar gurus out there - yes I agree 'effects' was better than 'affects' but please don't let that take the focus off the subject.

i had started a thread all ready feeling obama care death plans in ca. my mom in law was admitted the day after the upholding of the insurance company written obama/romney care law and was told by her dr that the treatments that she had gotten just three weeks earlier for the same problem would now not be covered due to the ruling on the obama/romney care. the dr told her that they would care for her,medicare, BUT if she wanted those treatments she had covered 3 weeks earlier she would have to pay for it herself. It is only a matter of time before more folks have this happen to them. by the way she just passed this morning. we are all soo screwed!

I just found out this morning that Obamacare makes it a felony if you don't do what you doctor tells you to do, and it also makes it a felony if you leave the country for treatment. I am beyond shocked and pissed about it. I haven't yet read looking for this, but I have a friend who has left the country for cancer treatment and concerned that she won't be able to return for future treatments after January. Makes me feel sick inside that she cannot choose her treatment.

I'm already feeling affects of Obamacare at work. I will be fined $1500 a year (since its added onto my insurance cost I don't think they call it a fine) if I don't do three things.

1. I need to do a health screening at the company clinic held in the cafeteria where they do blood pressure, blood test, weight, body fat index, interview me on what I eat and such. This information goes to my COMPANY and not to my doctor. It is a $500 fine per year if I don't do this.

2. and 3. My husband I must take an online health questionnaire by a certain date. This is worth $500 fine each if we don't do it. Again information goes to my company and not to my doctor. The company used to do this in the past but used to pay people $50 each to do it - now they fine people $500 each (plus $500 fine for spouse) if they don't.
