I cannot friggin' believe it.
I am a 53 year woman with severe arthritis (diagnosed w/Lupus) in my spine and both hips/groins. I also have stenosis of the spine so I am riddled with issues. My discs were actually chipping.

I am a vegetarian, 5'8" around 145 pounds in otherwise, good health.

I was a patient of the medical profession and pharmaceutical industry for years. Nothing was curing my dis-ease. Only masking it temporarily.

I started taking Borax one week from today (11/29)....and although it's not entirely gone, I am at LEAST 75% better!
I just cannot believe this is being kept from the public.

My condition was getting to the point where I couldn't sleep well, sit well, stand well, lay on my back well and even drive my car with a clutch.
I always had to brace and anticipate the pain when I got up from any position which is a very negative mindset, I know.

On a pain scale of 1-10....I was never below a '8'. Many days I was an '11'.

Now?...today?.....I am a '4'

Un-friggin-believable!!!!!!!!!


I encourage and implore anyone to at least TRY this. I felt the effects by the second day. I wasn't as stiff.

I take about a 1/4 teaspoon of Mule Borax with 16 oz of water twice a day. It doesn't taste bad at all.

I don't think I ever want to go a day without taking Borax for I never want to feel that crippling pain ever again.

Been using organic boron for the last two yrs now.
Had arthritis so bad in my shoulder i couldn't use my left arm and ended up in the hospital.
Doctors said DRUGS, i did research.
Took about 3 weeks to get the full effect but i can tell you......NO MORE PAIN or grinding in the joint!
Buy it online, strait boron, the borax in the laundry section has other crap in it.
Won't hurt you cuz i took that until my boron came in the mail. I ordered 1 pd and still have half left and i think it cost me like $13 with shipping and all.

Try using lemon juice. The kind that comes in a bottle. It's cheap, it's natural, and it works well on the under arm smell.

That's what I thought too, but then I read that Alcoa supplied the raw material to Arm and hammer. If it came from the aluminum mines, there must surely be some contamination from the aluminum, even though they don't list it. Then Arm and Hammer produces the sodium bicarb through a chemical process, while Bob's gets it's bicarb from natural deposits. hmmm. I'm thinking that maybe Bob's natural sodium bicarb might be the way to go.
As far as baking pow3der goes, I think that Bob's adds some tartar to the bicarb to make baking powder instead of the aluminum product like the rest of them to make things rise.
Adding cream of tartar to your own baking soda (Bob's?) half and half will give you baking powder.


If you care about aluminum, you need to do your own research to find out. I might be full of shit, who knows?

Interesting that she would not take boron. It can be purchased at health food stores and online. It's basically just Borax.

Thanks OP. Another natural product is MSM, a natural sulfur. I had terrible joint pain and started this product two months ago. Feel twenty years younger and am looking younger. Great to treat arthritis pain and to rebuild cartlidge, along with reversing lung disease. Look into it. It is sold on the market, but (Nanny State) FDA won't approve because Big Pharm loses billions if people realize that they are sulfur deficient.

Wow that is impressive! I have hip arthritis going to see a specialist tomorrow but I will just find out how bad it is and they will not be able to help me. I am beginning to not be able to do things like hike because of the pain it causes. Range of motion is getting less too.
I just bought some boron supplements will be starting 6mg a day. Hope it works! I have been an athlete all my life and to feel like I can't move is horrible. Will check back in a week or two.

Does the baking soda, work as well in water as it does with Maple syrop. The article I read talked about the two together would work well because the sugar of the syrop is drawn in by deseased cells, and the oxygen from the soda would then kill that deseased cell. I've been taking that mix heated together for about a week as a preventative. Can't say as I've noticed much difference in my energy but then, as far as I know, I'm not sick.

Seem in theory that baking soda would neutralize your stomach acids, would cause your digestion to not be up to par. I have read that older people have poorer digestion because of less stomach acid. Does anyone know about this?

This is very interesting my grandmother has pretty bad arthritis and I was staying at my grandparents for about a week and got home today and this is an interesting coincidence for this info to be posted on glp because I decided that when I got home I would research some treatments for arthritis

Try using organic coconut oil, baking soda and essential oil for deoderant. It works wonderful and takes a small amount.

Doctor told me today that nothing can be done to stop or even slow down my hip arthritis. I will just get worse till I am disabled, then I will be a candidate for hip replacement. Just take NSAIDs and Tylenol. Hoping the Boron works!!!!!!
I will try Adaquain next. It is works for our horse. We have been giving it IM to him for a few years. He has knee arthritis and has not been lame since we started.

You might also want to try Stinging NETTLE.

You can buy it dried at any health food store.
It comes in tinctures also.

It is great as a soothing bath. Just boil about a handful let in sit 5-10 min add it to your bath water(after the tub is filled) and why not enjoy a cup of nettle tea while your soaking.

I understand it does relieve the pain of arthritis.

Well, I read the thread and just now went to Swanson's site & got Boron caps. I feel a little safer taking those.

Kinda hard to face drinking something I have been killing ants with. I guess I could try it on the husband...for the sake of research.

I will check back with this thread in a few weeks and report on the results. (Doom permitting)
