No just the one store. The FBI system they used stopped the sell.

Then they gave me the number to call. They answer the phone , but they are a-holes. They wouldn't tell me anything , and treat you like a terrorist.Then they hang up on you.

You can order your FBI file for like $20 or something.
I don't think it's all inclusive, but is shows the standard stuff that might be held against you.

Husband had no problem buying a handgun and a rifle on the same day. We do have problems buying ammo. We can only use cash. The store won't accept our debit card if we are using it to buy ammo.

Buy your ammo from Walmart. They accept everything.

I was filling out papers for a background check to buy a gun and mentioned that I had CC, and the dealer asked why I didn't say so at first. They just took my cc number and it was a done deal.

I'm back to working for myself. Haven't tried to buy a firearm tho. I already have what I need. But I have been contemplating it. Hope I don't get the same treatment. I talked with an attorney and there's nothing I can do about the name thing or the FBI. Most lawyers don't want to go up against them. But then, most lawyers suck.

Ok to clear this up. The ATF can delay the sale of a firearm up to 3 business days. If after 3 business days they have not contacted the dealer, you can pick your weapon up.

2.) I noticed you didn't mention anything about not having a history of mental illness. That is also taken in to consideration. It's not just criminal records that matter.

I bought an AK about a year ago. Nothing on my record. Retired military. The owner told me 90% of the replys are back within a half hour. Mine went the full 7 days. If they don't receive a reply within 7 days it's then legal to sell you the weapon. I don't know what took so long. Maybe it's the web sites I frequent.

I just bought a Remington 700 a couple days ago. No approval problems. Of course, the guy didn't ask my name and I didn't ask his. He asked me if there was any reason he couldn't sell me the gun. I said no. I asked if it was stolen, he said no. I handed him the money. He handed me the gun.

Of course, there are only 33 states you can do that in. 17 require background checks.

Establish residency in a good state. Buy guns all you want.

The fallacy of "they are going to come and get your guns" just makes me laugh! How are they going to find them? In my state they won't know because, while I have over 50 guns, there are only about 5 of them that I have had to hand over my "Paperz Pleez..."

I have not, but I've passed 3 FBI background checks, so I guess I'm golden.

If they say you can't have guns, you can't have guns. You've given up all you're God given rights to live under mamons rule, ie: you cannot serve two masters. I don't care what rights you think you have I KNOW what benefits you are afforded. If you play nice you may get your guns.

The gun show loophole is an exaggerated myth. Most vendors at gun shows are FFL holders. It doesn't matter where/when they sell guns, if they do they must follow the ATF laws. Some people who sell guns at gun shows are private citizens and depending on the state they do not need to file paperwork for transfer of a firearm. Some states only require bill of sale and some like AZ don't even require that.

The real "loophole" are same state sales through websites or classifieds. Even then if I sell a gun I bought from an FFL you can bet your ass I am going to require a bill of sale just in case anything illegal is ever done with that gun.

Most gun shows are total shit nowadays anyway. All the private sellers have been forced out and prices are no lower than normal shops due to increased vendor fees. The only benefit of a gun show is to be able to touch and handle a variety of models and to find rare parts/mags without having to search online.

I had a 1 week delay while purchasing a rifle in Maryland because it was considered a regulated firearm. I believe the delay also applies to handgun purchases too since they need to do a ballistics test first. Gotta love being treated like a criminal for trying to exercise my rights. Still it's an improvement coming from NJ, where the process to even own a gun is so absurd and tied up with paperwork that it's one of the reasons I left the state.

bought a handgun and a AR in the last 3 days. Took less than 15 minutes for each and these put me past 5 in just the last several months.
