Make the Bay the child of the Slave Lake Reservation which can be used as the small scale testing center. You don't want mad-fish disease running wild you know. Do seals act as the 'northern guards' so the fish stay in the 'pen'?

What is sad is that some humans live like animals, and like you, my heart breaks for many people in that situation. What makes me so angry is that after the last big earthquake in Haiti, I read that the millions of dollars raised went to the government leaders and very little to the peoople. That's just awful!

I really believe that people who love animals....even lowly squirrels... also have much compassion for humans.

Being capable of evil and making the moral choice not to is what makes us human...sure we can learn from animals, and eat them...ride them and make them pull our plows, but we should not look upon them as equal to humans...

That is sad, i would of gone with it was his friend, but i didnt know that squirrels would eat meat... so now im torn... part of me is "Awwww thats sad, trying to save his buddy " and the other see;s the logic, but is it that stricten for food in that area where the squirrel had to resort to that? including risking his life for some meat? I think im going to stick with the Aww side of things, there is too much hate and anger in the world and this is a nice reminder of empathy

If it's any consolation to the OP and other that care has a glimpse of what God goes through when a sparrow dies. The odds are that in the new earth you will be around to see the living water make that flesh healthy again. The Scriptures are quite graphic before the last few die for the 1,000 year reign. (that is done by God so they are none of them alive when the next big event takes place, fire that sends everything not perfected into the fiery lake) The covenant of remembrance Jesus makes is made with the flesh of birds and animals when the feast on the bodies of men that believed war was the solution. When that is over they die and for that period only the flesh of fish is made healthy (Eze:47)during the 1,000 years. That part is worth reading as it needs no long explanation.

Grab the cat by the scruff of the neck and say, "Here boy." to the dog and then head for the closest safe area.

What about those who make the choice to be evil, or commit evil acts on other living beings, where do they fall?
Am I supposed to think they are better than a child or an animal?

An animal or child that isn't capable of evil, is a being that should be respected, looked after, protected, and emulated... not looked down on, used, mistreated and discarded.

We are afterall, all part of God's creation.

Children come first, they will grow into decision making adults...after children would come the adult even if they have made evil decisions before, because they still have a soul and a chance to change...last, when humans are accounted for and safe then go tend to your animals...
