PLEASE...My sister is in a coma,,,Pray for her.

Hey...just got electricity back on here...Huge boom this morning at 9:30 am,lights went out,then back. Then another enormous BOOM and they went out for good.
Went outside to see transformers blowing up all down the street....BOOMS,smoke,smell of fire...all my neighbors outside wondering WTF.
Then,as we watched, 3 more BOOMS and explosions of the transformers.
Smoke smell...
Within 10 minutes,the fire trucks showed up. Another 10 and FPL was there. Florida Power and Light.
About 8 trucks came and went with no resolution to the problem. Called FPL twice with no explanation. Widespread.Seems like what happened in Texas last week.

Feck it...I'm gonna get drunk and stupid tonight. Nothing else I CAN do.

Not much I can do for her from here.
Her twin brother is there with her as well as her 2 daughters....
One is a CNA,the other just graduated from nursing School.
I can do nothing but pray.

Feck it. I'm gonna get drunk.

Just got a call from my brother,Michael,twin to Debbie....
She woke up!!!! She had a drink of water and is being transported to Iowa City Hospitals.


Thank you all so much for your PRAYERS! I can hardly type for the tears but I am so grateful!!!!

I prayed for her this morning. Was anxious all day because I wanted to find out how she was doing. I am over-joyed to hear the good news. God bless you, her and your family.

You may want to consider getting her transferred in an ambulance to University of Iowa Hospitial in Iowa City. They are one of the better hospitals in that whole area and not that far from you. If you feel your sister is not getting the high quality of attention and knowledge that she needs in Davenport, MOVE HER.

Call them, here is their number: 319-356-1616; Toll Free: 800-777-8442. Ask them about the procedure for moving your sister. I lived in S.E. Iowa for 17 years, Davenport is kind of a podunk hospital, not bad but not fabulous either. U of I has a MUCH better reputation.

If she's got meningitis, she needs urgent care.

One last thing to say before I'm out of this thread for the night...it is this...
I was on FaceBook (yes,I know..please don't preach to the choir),where I supposedly have many many 'friends'. When I posted about my sister,guess how many of those 'friends' responded?
