They have to debate Sandy today.

He said they would debate this bill when they reconvened on Thursday.

It was on the C Span debate as it ended.

What would happen if all debt were to be cancelled?
Global and personal, clean slate.

It will happen eventually, either through war or inflation. Probably both. Inflation makes the real value of debt melt like butter on a hot skillet.

northeast especially new york and new jersey need the funds to rebuild, our area hasnt seen a storm like this in decades, we are not like florida which laughs when a category 1 hurricane approaches. it would be like if 4 inches of snow were to hit miami, people would go insane in miami while here in new york its just another snow storm.

to get back to budget, why does the us need $600 billion+ military budget? its unnecessary n unless they cut the budget soon it will only get worse. but this wont happen since we have war with iran or syria on the horizon. defense budget isnt the only problem, overpaid workers is another, do we really need so many workers earning at least 100k? then they use overtime to sometimes double their salary. some OT is legitimate but sometimes the worker will alter the weekly hours in order to receive more pay, happens all the time here in new york, its too late at night to write about many of the leading factors in yet another crisis. hopefully others will add to the list and discuss them but remember this

Since the people who control the financial architecture derive their power from debt, credit, and interest rates, it strikes me as highly unlikely they would agree to do this. Especially as they are all psychopaths.
