SteamrolledGobias User ID: 15716609 United States 02/09/2013 11:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | because it has a lot of 1.5-3 mag quakes literally every single day. look at global incidents map. california is not quiet, it just hasn't had a major quake in a very long time. so residents who live there honestly believe they are invulnerable to devastating earthquakes... they think it'll always be no larger than 5 mag... plus think about how many people live on the coast of california. if the federal gov't wanted to prune a large amount of people, generating an EQ to either crack down the san andreas fault OR cause a massive tsunami to inundate Los Angeles are two viable methods of culling the population. |
