Re: My Sleep Paralysis and Experiences (please share if you have some as well!)
My wife heard the growl and felt its breath in her last attack. She woke up terrified. She has been severly attacked throughout her life but she never told me anything out of fear that i would think she was crazy. I starded to ask her about her past and found out her grandmother was into occult things. My wife was into the oiuja board, and tarot cards, but nothing as crazy as her grandmother.

I have also experienced these attacks, but had not seen anything until a month ago. When I woke up, I was paralysed and I saw this black cloud lift off my feet and move to the top of the room. The dark cloud looked misty and it had these trailing arms that were sucked in to the center. When it dissapeared, it took a few seconds and I was able to move again.

These things are evil, Why else would they play these little games to intimidate and paralyze us? I belived its actual entities, because of the amount of people that report seeing the same things all over the world. I dont believe its our bodies malfunctioning, or a chemical in our body that paralyses us. If it were a chemical, then if someone abruptly awakes you, we would be paralysed for a few moments while the effects of the chemical fades away, but that doesnt happen.

My adviced to you is to be careful with psychiatry. If you study its roots youll find that many of its heavy hitters have also been into occult stuff.

dreams are creations of your past experiences, memories and for nightmares, fear.

people never see the exact same thing, they may see very similar things but they will always have differences. its just how our body works.

your body thinks it knows when you are asleep. if you sit still long enough without talking or thinking of anything, you will enter sleep paralysis because it thinks you are asleep. it releases the chemical which paralyzes your body so you do not go walk abouts acting out your dreams. (this only works after 90 mins of sleep, since it does not paralyze your body until it goes into REM sleep.)

if your body knows you are awake, it will unfreeze your body instantly.

I was awake, but still the body doesn't unfreeze. And i haven't been able to replicate it on my own or read anything that offers a real understanding of it.

I've also sat still before in the form of meditation (through teachings of tae kwon do) and never had any paralysis.

I know you think everyones experiences different things. But its my experience that these things are very similar, a trend if you will.

Re: My Sleep Paralysis and Experiences (please share if you have some as well!)
My sleep paralysis started in 2002 when the wife died .. 3 months after i fell asleep on the sofa after a hard day lookin after the kids ....i dreamt that i woke up on the sofa and my wife was calling down the stairs " why did you wake me ,i am on my way down now" and i heard the steps creak as she walked down the steps i tried to move but couldn't i heard the door open and she stood by me but there was a scar on her cheek i couldn't run or move i was petrified she lifted her hand up and it looked weird and touched me i couldn't wake up or move , it terrified me that i couldn;t move or protect myself in any way ... and that was the worst one the other one was looking down from the bed to see her lying there and starting to roll over and start sitting up but it wasn't as bad ............. it has been 11 yrs now and still i am having them all on basically the same thing ..scary isn't the word ...pump2

Re: My Sleep Paralysis and Experiences (please share if you have some as well!)
I've suffered with it over the years and thankfully it has been a while since I've had an attack. One of the worst ones was when I woke up hearing growling and realized that I was making the noise, obviously trying to wake myself up. Oddly enough, since I've had my cats, I haven't had any problems with sleep paralysis for the most part. Whether they let me unwind so I'm not so stressed or maybe they are keeping something away, I'm not sure.

if they had the tech to do this and needed our bodies.

wouldn't they just clone human beings directly for this purpose? dumb them down and keep em in an enclosed area.

much like what we do with cattle?

what's with all the charade if they are in control?

Re: My Sleep Paralysis and Experiences (please share if you have some as well!)
I've had a couple of sleep paralysis and as far as i've experienced, when you feel that pressure on the chest, completely relax you body as if energy was flowing through and imagine yourself floating away from your physical body. That's when the oobe starts as far as i know.
If anyone's interested, in my first sleep paralysis, i felt something on my feet, under the covers that suddenly slip until my chest and transformed into a bone hand, then i noticed it was someone dressed as a grim reaper with its hand on my chest. I then proceeded to have the most vivid dream i've had, as if the reaper was separating me from my body.
There was another experience in which i was lying on my stomach with my head turned on the direction of a big mirror in my room. I then got scared shitless as i was beeing dragged down my bed andnoticed through the mirror that a big green-black glowing cloud was above my feet.

Vanish, and He'll make you shine like the sun.
Fall, and He'll raise you to the heavens.
Become nothing, and He'll turn you into everything."

Yes I do and I hate it. I am not as scared of it anymore but I still don't like it. I try and call out to get my partner to touch me as that wakes the asleep part of my brain up. I sound really scarey though, as it is an enormous effort and comes out sounding like a monster. LOL! Makes me scared my partner is going to die of shock, or run away thinking I am possessed by a devil. Hahahaha! As you can see I have developed a sense of humour about it. My partner still hasn't.

Can he hear you? I always thought the sounds we make are part of the Hallucination.
 Quoting: Lumen

Yes. It takes enormous effort on my part as I can't move anything. It takes all my willpower to get that sound out but even that doesn't help me move. It is only when I am grabbed that I can move. During it I can't move a finger - it really is scarey at first. Now I know what it is, I don't fear it but I hate it. It is horrible not to be able to move anything.

But yes I can get an audible but horrible sound out. Op said he woke his step brother so I guess he can too.
 Quoting: Anonymous coward 1408355

Oh wow that exact thing happens to me during sp(which happens frequently) only I can only let out whimpers and groans which requires extreme effort! Glad I'm not the only one!
