Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed What I remember from that video looked like a road to one of the big piles they dumped at. It only went up the hill half way. Not even close to the parking area. Yer being goofy. |

Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed About 4 mins. into the Juan Browne video , the latest flyover. Quoting: Northlights Clearly not there in the feb. 20 flyover. I see the gray bedrock channel that the water overflow form the ES overflow formed and I see the brown road that the engineers made to move the debris cleared out from the bottom of the MS. |

Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed Just look at the latest aerial videos, they dug a new channel over from the far side of the parking lot straight to the river. Quoting: Northlights Very easy to see. Highly doubtful. For the effect something like that would have on the dam, it would qualify as sabotage. and, President Trump is still not monitoring the situation... |

Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed I remote viewed, but I didn't have a specific date, just a specific event at a specific time of day and I'm still anticipating it though I had to step away from the topic at full throttle because it was just...frustrating. When you see something that is going to happen but you can't tell when and even if you know you can't do a thing about it. I am not the same remote viewer as the one you spoke of though. Quoting: CRose8 Would it be possible to do a RV where your seeing the "event" and go to a place like a bank that has date/time on their sign? |

Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed I'm very curious to see what has changed on the MS. There doesn't seem to be any visible spray above the tree tops. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73283319 Yep...only rarely now do yo see a small plume. Something has changed. Hoping it's for the better, but when they turn off the data.... How could it possible be for the better? We know water is running down the MS, hitting the chasm and should be producing spray. |

They could have possibly found an ideal outflow rate that minimizes the harmonics and erosion. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73283319 Yep...only rarely now do yo see a small plume. Something has changed. Hoping it's for the better, but when they turn off the data.... well, the physics of the spray and plumes on the MS is the same as what causes Cataracts in Rivers. the first requirement for the formation of cataracts is high velocity water: and yesterday they began reducing the CFS from 50,000 to 47,000 CFS, and so, it would appear that just lowering the Energy Mix just 2 or 3,000 CFS was enough to cause the cessation of Plume Formation. (the spray is still plentiful of course.) |

So -- you are saying the MS is a-okay? no, i'm just saying the the present force at which the water is hitting that vertical slab or structure is not enough to form a plume, like it was at 50,000 CFS. |

Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed Watching the dam cam, I see something I think is different. Although the plumes/spray of water from the MS are much smaller than when they recently re-opened the MS, the water spray is now at the tower-and sometimes a bit to the right of the tower. Before, the plumes and spray were to the left of the tower, further down the spillway. |
