boy I cannot wait until Friday night. I am so sick of this job. I cannot actually quit here because I am under contract with a a US defense contractor. Nothing to report for today. Why does filling helium have to be so boring. I do get to go to other areas and some areas that are may come under a security clearance. One of the most unreported facts are that very very few of the scientists and engineers actually have access to all the data collected. I noticed that recently There has been a military presence in the roads entering CERN. they have built those little guard houses and those things like at the railroad stops that knife down right now they are unoccupied.

My prediction that perhaps the scientist at CERN will

get careless an create the dangerous blackhole on

December 21, 2012.

later on but I was not aware of any oncrete dates

Of course it can take 34 days or some more for the real

My personal theory as a NO SCIENTIST is: As soon as this

things lets particles crash together at over light

speed, something nasty - OR something beautiful could

properly discussed by scientists, politicians and the

publis, a new security report is issued and approved by

Another boring day

I hate science food!
Another day at work and more nonsense to trudge through. I wish that I had the skills to work with the top guys. I know there are weird things going on. but Gosh dammit these scientists are paid well. I hate the long walk to the main lunch room. I had the crazy fortune of stting within earshot of CERN's chief scientific officer, Jos Engelen. I sit with other technician guys. mainly the ones that i get drunk with and the very same ones that get me in trouble with the ladies. I swore I heard him say" maybe steven king is a prophet and "the mist" is his prophecy. I have not seen this movie except for the very first 30 minutes. I killed the streaming movie because it was so boring.
but anyway I have egg tuna salad. It tasted slimy. Yuck. Sorry for all the redundant I's but i didn't major in grammar.

what it is like to work here
My first day at cern was like visiting new york city for the first time. All huge and bewildering. except instead of large buildings you have many very flat ones. I get to work with all sorts of interesting people. You have got to understand that this is a worldwide effort. there are people from 150 universities and laboratories in 35 countries: Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, UK, USA CERN and JINR. My first detail was under the ALICE project.
At first when I got started there I thought " hey I am a genius they should listen to my idea. it wasn't until the second day I arrived that I realized that there are more projects going on that just smashing protons together. CERN's LHC is fed by a staged system. at first there is a liniac which boosts the speed and there there is another stage called the PS booster and that really gets the ions going.

You literally feel like a single ant in a hive colony. you have a single task to perform everyday. The exception is that you know when the experiments are taking place and if the results are good or nonexistant. My duties is to basically monitor liquid helium and nitrogen levels. There are These include 1232 dipole magnets of 40 ft length which are used to bend the beams, and 392 quadrupole magnets, each 25 ft long. there are even more magnets serving the detectors.
each of these magnets is served by a main helium tank and an auxiliary helium tank. Liquid helium is a finicky substance. Your pipeline tubing must be double jacketed the inner tube wherein the helium flows and the outer tube is where the liquid nitrogen flows. helium being at near absolute zero sees room temperature as a blazing furnace. so they let it see a 77 kelvin environment vs a 300k environment. we also have a intricate helium recovery system which we have our very own refrigerators to liquefy gasses. We do not just pump in liquid helium we precool the magnets with liquid nitrogen and then with helium. These magnets are done electronically in stages. We use a Unix interface with the temperature and pressure sensors.

I am writing this blog becuase I am seeing some strange things that I have not seen before. I notice higher levels of security, and more US military presence. I hear strange rumors and weird Jokes. I think that there is more going on that what is being let out. i will report to you everything I hear and see.

IF A STABLE BLACK HOLE IS CREATED, THEY CAN CONTAIN IT AND SHOOT THE DAM THING FAR FAR OUT IN SPACE.

PUT IT IN CRAFT AND SEND IT ON A TRAJECTORY OUT OUR SOLAR SYSTEM.

NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

Military is there as these experiments are crucial to time travel. We must go back and fix a past mistake. I smell real doom here....

I think I missed something, isn't this supposed to be the mother of all super colliders, not a micro singularity generator? I'd be more worried about the waveletts and strangeletts that might be brought into reality .. could be very bad juju.

I got from a discussion with a Physics Professor at Bandung Institute Of Technology:

The chance of creating tiny blackhole at CERN LHC is one in 20 billionth.

The mouth/size of the tiny blackhole will be less than a photon. This is much smaller than electron, or other particles.

If Hawking radiation does not exist, the tiny blackhole still cannot eat/swallow anything.

Even if the tiny blackhole managed to eat something it will take hundred billions of year to swallow the earth.

IMO to be sure about the safety of LHC, the scientist at CERN must wait for the proof of Hawking radiation from Sonic Blackhole or Fibre Optic/Light Blackhole experiment.

If a stable black hole is created we can start harvesting anti-matter from it :)

We already have the technology to make an anti-matter fuel cell to contain the stuff the problem is producing it in any significant quantities.

Are we supposed to give a flying fuck??
