The kernel is supposed to have a driver for it but I found out it doesn't work. Others have mentioned something called NDISWrapper, but having no previous experience with UNIX/Linux, I know nothing about downloading it and installing it...or compiling it. This thing is fast, and the 24" Asus 2 ms display is beautiful. Took me about 3 hours to build it. Two hours of that was spent troubleshooting a problem that didn't even exist, but that's a story for another day. Windows 7 Home Premium, 8 gig of 1333 RAM, a quad-core processor, a Radeom 7580 video card, and a Velociraptor HD. The laptop, however, doesn't get used much and had Windows XP on it. It was running really slow so I decided to wipe out everything on it and do a full custom install of Fedora...but I can easily change that to Ubuntu. I just have to burn the image to a CD or DVD and run it on the laptop. Quoting: Circuit BreakerUbuntu is the way to go.
