An oldie but goodie about LSD:

Unfortunately the effect for many seems to wear of after 6 months & the alcoholic may return to harmful drinking patterns...but 6 months is 6 months you could be using to become a better you.

Addiction aside, I feel many on GLP could benefit from crucifying their egos.

I'm sorry but that just isn't true. I have and also know people who have tripped several times and never once had a flashback. You would still have to have some of the chemical in your brain to have a flashback.

What your mom's friend has is a mental problem but is isn't from tripping

Sorry, in the 60's there were lots of young people who took too much acid and never came back to the extent that they could function in society, and ended up institutionalized.

People having acid flashbacks long after it left their systems was not uncommon at all.

Maybe the acid is just weaker now.

I consider LSD as my ultimate drug for my mind, never tried DMT but lsd is my boy, I know it for sure.

LSD mimics death on higher doses, it is truly the most frightening and wonderful experiences you can get in this world.

LSD makes you way smarter, wakes you up, gives you knowledge but also can take everything from you in matter of seconds, very powerful drug, not a funny drug, nope not at all, I learned it the hard way

The scientists wanted to try DMT on terminally ill cancer patients because DMT seems to "cure" the fear of dying, but I don't know if they got green light for a study like that.

I think most every healthy and mentally sound adult should take a couple of LSD trips.

It truly enables you to perceive reality in an alternative state of the same reality that is the norm.

That is the benefit really. It allows the mind to accept the possibility of alternative perspectives as valid.

the long term benefit is you become more able to understand other peoples perspectives.

You also are shocked by the realization that there are actually other perspectives in life. And they might just be more valid than the ones you hold or held dear all those years.

Very powerful and safe drug.

It just takes a few trips in a lifetime to realize major benefits.

Here is the bottom line:

It has been shown to be statistically significant that heavy drinkers are less likely to relapse when treated with LSD as part of a treatment program.

Nothing more nothing less, do what you will with that information.

From experience, it took me 4hrs to drink 1/2 a beer when on LSD. So maybe if your on it indefinitely?

face it if you drink alcohol. you ARE Poisoning your body. Alcohol creates a sub ego within the drinker which tells him HE or she needs the elixir . LSD like was said before give a break into the consciousness and WILL SHOW THE Abuser WHAT THERE BODY LOOKS LIKE from another perspective and liettarlly shows them what kind of mess THEY ARE. there own perception of them selves from inside the counter ego is and always will be distorted . If you read the text, Alcoholics Anonymous with some degree of comprehension, you will find that the disease of alcoholism is a Spiritual malady.

The only course of action which the alcoholic can depend upon to gain a defense against the first drink, is a Relationship With God. Medical science still has no means to bring about Recovery from alcoholism.

The idea of "treating" alcoholism with any drug or hallucinogen is ludicrous. Of course, there is no money for the medical community in telling their patients they need to put their reliance upon God. No money for the religious community in that advice either, evidently...


Nonetheless, there is RECOVERY from alcoholism. Not an ongoing "recovering" situation; but an immediate and complete recovery. Does this mean the alcoholic can return to drinking "normally"? NO. Why would you desire to? Alcohol, after all, does have the same physiological effects on each drinker; none of them health positive. (If you're gonna cite the positive effects of red wine resins, you can drink Grape Juice.)

The problem the alcoholic has with regard to drinking is being unable to mount a defense against the idea that might arise on occasion, "I can just have one drink, can't I? This time it will be different!" Except it never is. The alcoholic needs God to Enable them to recall why they don't want to take that first drink.


Alopathic medicine and the medical community it has produced through its "medical schools" since the 1920s makes the war dept physicians of Japan and Nazi Germany seem benign.

LSD can help, not by making you high on something else, but by changing the way you perceive things. You make drink alcohol for fun or you maybe trying to escape reality by using it constantly. LSD can make you see that maybe escaping reality isn't a good idea because reality is a wonderful thing.

LSD will take your mind to the edge of reality and back to tell you or make you realize something monumental that could very well improve your life.
