People who know how to hang on to wealth and power for generations aren't generally foolish enough to be showy about it. The signs of wealth are obvious to those in the club...no advertising is needed.

That pastor is showing off, not a good look for someone in that line of work. He could have bought a nice SUV and used the rest to develop an after school enrichment program for needy kids, maybe changed someone's life. Instead he feeds his ego. Shame.

Joel Osteen gave a job to one of the members of The Death Camp once. I have grilled him extensively, as it was a maintenance job that allowed him access to all areas. He didn't see any coke, meth labs or people in chains. Odd sort of church.

These people are parasites leeching money from people who don't have it to give...stupid low iq people who believe the shit and the antics that these charlatans bring forth in their mega church events. Staged theatrics that some believe to be miracles and ultimately manifests into false hope. They make me sick.

I try to remember this principle; those who absolve themselves and condemn others, God condemns. Those who condemn themselves and absolve others, God absolves. Having said that, there is something that seems unsavory about this.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I've never understood how so many Christians can be hoodwinked by that guy.

This is the minister of my church. Despite our mega-church being as financially healthy as Osteen's, Pastor Jud's family lives a very simple life. All of the church's money is used to support it's many ministries.

I'm grateful to have such a Godly man teach me weekly.

What does he do if you absolve others and yourself because it would be a form of hubris not to do so? How can I say I am any better than them, and if they don't know what they are doing I can't either?

Did the money come from the church or an away from the church job? If from the church, the parishioners are idiots. If from a non ministry job, then as long as it was was earned morally. It's no ones business.

Only he does not own any of them. He is only making use of them for the time he is a Pope.

They are the same planes and Pope mobiles as the two Popes before him.

This one lives together with other priests in a boarding house. He has his own room but the other Popes resided in the Papal apartments.

The pastors own the Lamborghini, helicopter and Jumbo Jet.

The Popes own nothing.

I'd like to count how many homeless people are near the very churches where he pastors. How many hungry? How many veterans on the street? How many children needing life-changing surgery and no insurance? How many slums families are forced to live in due to inadequate income to afford adequate housing?

I'm no more impressed by this Lamborghini than I am by the "crystal cathedral".

He needs to respond rapidly to parishioners in spiritual need?

Any individual who accepts the responsibility as a religious leader MUST understand the influence factor.

For a Christian to flaunt wealth buy purchasing an absolute luxury item says to me they do not have the true spirit of Christ in them. As a leader you are attempting to guide and influence people in the ways of a Christian. This is certainly his privilege, but not a wise choice.

I have a problem with ‘pastors.’ I’ve seen pastors, belonging to a motorcycle organization turn up each year with a new bagger. I lived beside a pastor recently, who was a piece of shit, and do believe that the stress from that caused my cancer to recur. This jerk was over in India, living the life of royalty with servants changing their bedding, made meals, etc. all nearly free of any living costs. Decides to return to Canada with his wife after adopting a couple of ‘diverse’ kids…and moving in with his widowed mother – next door. She already had a single son living there so the front of our house looks like a parking lot. Sometimes parking illegally on the wrong side of the street, which really triggered me. They were always there for meals but they never helped clean up. The widow also had a married daughter with two babies and the son-in-law was always bbqing for everyone. This went on for a year until the widow got fed up with all the cooking and no help with yard work – so she put her house up for sale. I happened to find an ad for sale that belonged to the pastor, and discovered he had bought the house and was advertising a garage sale, accordingly. Me and Hubby were really disgusted as we had just bought out ‘retirement home’ with the knowledge that both side neighbours were retired/quiet as well.

Both the pastor and his wife had vehicles, one with Flow-master exhaust and they would idle in their driveway which was close to our bedroom window – for lengthy periods, even in summer. Thankfully, the jerk was quite apt at buying used vehicles at auction, driving them for a bit and then flipping for a better model. Meanwhile we did a property search and he didn’t buy anything, his in-laws did! They were interesting, especially the mother who was associated with a orphanage charity over in India, thus able to drive a beautiful Toyota Infinity SUV and her husband a Tesla.

The pastor tried to be friends with us but we can’t fake our feelings and our zero tolerance for bullshit. Guess he didn’t like being snubbed and his emotional maturity of a 15 year old broke out. Immediately started throwing his kitchen garbage out beside his back patio which faced our bedroom window. One morning there was a flock of two dozen crows…having breakfast with garbage. Yes, Alfred Hitchcock bad! It was reported to the city and I was informed that a $300 fine was issued. That’s when the harassment started!

Meanwhile his hair and beard were always professionally groomed, wife had the acrylic nails, jewelry, etc. The property slowly deteriorated…while he’s making 2 -3 trips BACK to India, staying free with his flock AND motorcycle trips too! I totally changed my opinion of all organized religion! We received a Christmas card from the in-laws by mistake – they have a ‘vila’ in Florida, along with a beautiful big home in town! Religion pays! Charity pays! Orphanages…pays?!

Give it to the middle class that have been robbed poor.
We know how to put it to good use and see through the lies of the "chosen."

I rent a ground floor apartment in a big three story building but it is all one house type of building. If i had that money i would buy it and turn it into a Christian Orphanage cos i am sick of seeing kids here abused & dumped by their parents cos they are girls or disabled or some bs financial burden - I will do it somehow on my meager pension one day and hopefully my daughter will carry it on
