Unfortunately, he is still rambling incoherently and not making any sense as of today and can't even be interviewed about the incident. He's been charged with attempted 1st degree murder, aggravated assault and battery with intent to cause grave bodily harm, criminal threat, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Apparently he was using heroin and no one even knew about it. Just kill the beast? He has "ptsd" because he misses doing atrocities. I don't help tjose. Quoting: TrustNoOneKS I know that he received disability from the military for his PTSD but am not aware of his suffering any injuries. I know that he had killed while there and that it had weighed heavily on him. Recently he had begun to hallucinate seeing the dead and saying they were talking to him, but my daughter did not feel threatened by it or him. I only found out about the hallucinations after the fact when she was speaking with the detectives. He was not on meds and to the best of our knowledge he was not prescribed them, but who really knows if he was and just threw the script away. Do you know if the disability was from his branch of service or from the Department of Veterans affairs? What branch of service was he in? Did he keep in contact with anyone? Because of the nature of service in these recent conflicts - many Veterans are suffering in addition to PTSD - brain injuries. In all honesty if he is still babbling in jail I hope they consider medical possibilities and look at his brain. I would think it might help your daughter in her healing if she knew if something like this was in play. Is she in shock? Its important she get support right away. She is going to need a lot of emotional support. I'm not sure where the disability came from, but I know he followed up with the VA, so maybe from them. He was infantry in the Army. I'm not sure about whether he kept contact with anyone or not. I personally know so little about his time in Afghanistan because I didn't want to press him. I do know that fireworks really triggered his PTSD badly. She's not in shock, but she is in so much pain that she doesn't want to address the psychological aspect as yet because she doesn't think she can handle the physical pain that would be caused by becoming emotional and crying. Someone is with her at all times, whether it is me or her father. She knows that she needs to get therapy eventually to deal with this. The whole extended family is just trying to do our best to be there and support her. I had read when someone experiences things so horrible and they don’t talk about it like her husband that it keeps the ptsd alive. He kept it all inside and then it welled up when the right drugs were taken or situation arrived. Talk therapy is so necessary. I can understand about your daughter wanting to stay calm so she can heal but she will have to talk about it eventually so she doesn’t get ptsd. Even though it is painful it is so necessary. So glad she has so many rallying around her. You and your husband will have to do some healing as well. Talking about your emotions is so vital so you can keep going for her. This is wrong advice. Talk therapy is NOT necessary and can do great harm. PTSD does NOT come of not talking about traumatic experience and talking about it can be injurious. |

I am not saying it is an excuse, it is just provided as explanation for how something so awful could have come to pass. I don't know for certain it was related to the PTSD, but can only speculate. We really have no idea what went so wrong with him. When my daughter entered the apartment he was rambling incoherently and not making any sense whatsoever. Thanks! sue the attacker in civil court so he can spend the rest of his life paying your daughter three quarters of his paycheck. Good idea. Also if he's the father of her child, she needs to talk to an attorney ASAP about terminating his parental rights, making a will specifying who should care for her child in case she isn't around, and seeing if she can make a common law marriage claim for his military spousal benefits. Go to the hospital in person and talk to someone about a payment plan or federal insurance kind of thing. It's a small monthly fee and can cover costs incurred now and in the future. |

Your daughter was attacked by a demon manifesting through that mans body. I guarantee he was withdrawling from heroin . That demon completely takes over even the strongest of minds.... Your daughter needs to start having a relationship with CHRIST, she is CLEARLY a targeted individual by demonic entities to keep her away from the light... You can laugh at this all you want, but I bet my life on it, she gets a relationship with CHRIST, her life will be totally positive from there on out... But getting people to have faith these days especially young people that love sex/entertainment, is nearly impossible.... Rot In Peaces BABYLON, it is falling soon! Quoting: WorkingWithChrist Not to be rude or mean or whatever but what the hell does Christ have anything to do with this? Even those who have a close relationship with Christ find themselves in unfortunate situations. Not gonna derail Trust’s purpose of this thread but I will say that I do think that this was a bit out there and uncalled for. Instead why not pray for her instead of saying that she needs to have a relationship with Christ. #somepeoplejustcantleavereligionoutofit It would be a little more useful to tell Christ about this girl who needs a relationship with Him—and some money in her gofundme too. |
