No reflection on you IWTB, because I have been watching this guys reports as well, but..Wow, there was so much wrong with that report that I would have to do a total voice over the video second, by second, to try and redirect. He totally missed that there was a CME occuring even though he was showing the data. He failed to see the filament eruptions, even though he flashed them by on SDO...on and on. Sad:/ He is a good video producer. People are so visualy spoiled now it is hard to get them to read a line anymore or even click on a link to an image. I have Camtasia, but the time it takes to make videos on top of the research is a lot on top of my Job and other obligations. I enjoy offering what I can with the time that I have available.

Ya I know what you mean. This guy has a lot of knowledge but he almost calms me down too much. I watch his videos ever since Ninz got hurt.

I have no Idea of what the true nature of this man's background or educational level is. I have never even googled his name. I will tell you this. There are published scientist, closer to you finger tips than you realize. We link to a site here every day(hint^everyone). I would not want to send traffic there. Bio:
Dr Strong started his interest in the Sun as an amateur astronomer at the Portsmouth Astronomical Group nearly 40 years ago. He went on to University College, London, to get a B.Sc in Astronomy in 1972, and a Ph.D. at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory in High—Energy Astrophysics in 1979. Since than he has worked at Lockheed Martin (LM) as a research scientist studying the Sun with a variety of space instruments (Solar Max, Yohkoh, TRACE, and Sol-IO) built at his laboratory. Starting in I995,he managed the Solar and Astrophysics l group at the LM Advanced Technolgy Centre in Palo Alto, California, and became the lead of all space science research activities at LM in 2000. He is now Principal Scientist at LMATC and is working on research to help quantify any link between the Sun and Earth’s climate change in conjunction with NASA scientists in Maryland.

I've heard(in some other post on here) that the last time it looked like that was right before the Japan quake. I don't know if it has any substance... just passing along what I've heard/seen. It also could be completely normal. I haven't been watching that long. Very cool though.

There were just 2 quakes at "Reykjanes Ridge" about 15 minutes apart... interesting.

Ok, so what is going on with nict. What is this showing us, other than it's not normal, and how will it affect us. Anybody with this knowledge please respond.

The BznT is currently +, therefore the connection is not good between the Earth/CME, "Shields are up"; like magnets pushing away from each other. If the winds had been higher today..ie the CMEs blasted off at a faster speed , or the CHHSS still have been directed toward us, today would have been "bumpier"..:) I believe the density has been generally higher throught this round then any of the previous. I am not talking about the initial shock, but rather sustained density.
