Here is what most people don't know.

The world is NOT running out of oil, BUT it IS running out of CHEAP oil and Iraq is said to contain as much as 25% of the worlds remaining CHEAP lite sweet crude that's close to the surface!

This is why Iraq is soooo important! An energy crisis for the world is about to rear its ugly head and its because oil is about to become much more costly!

I have experience working with an oil remediation and production company. Our company for a time was producing a chemical that you could put down an oil well that would boost production of that well as much 500% for about 6 months.

What I learned during that time is that oil wells and oil fields behave the same way. You can have higher and higher production rates of an oil well till you reach 50% left of the reserves at that point the well pumps at a declining rate for the rest of its life!!!

There are some things you can do to temporarily boost oil and gas production from a declining well, but they are ONLY temporary!!

The problem is the largest oil fields in the world including almost all of the middle east with the exception of Iraq are in decline!! There are alternative oil supplies that can and will fill worlds shortage but they are all SECONDARY sources that cost much more to produce!!!

And if you read the article I just posted, higher oil prices reduce the IMFs projected GDP so significantly that global economies will crash.

Heard there was a deal made between SA and Russia. Russia back off in Ukraine and ISIS backs off in iraq/iran. This is getting interesting. Looks like kurdistan will happen with or without Maliki becoming pres. So I suspect they will kick him to the side of the road shortly. Not needed to further the kurdistan agenda it would seem.

These guys are literally lined up driving around in there little pick up trucks and we aren't gonna do an airstrike? We could decimate ISIS for good in a half hour.

I don't understand what the obsession is, among some people in this, to be right all the time, and to denigrate anyone who slightly disagrees with them, but that's not for me, and I'm not going to be looking over my shoulder with every post I make, wondering if some asshole is gonna show up and trash me.

I wonder if he was offered a deal of contingent immunity? Kerry goes in and makes him an offer he can't refuse. Hey, Maliki, play fair and let this democracy thing play out, and if you get nominated to be PM and if you can form a government, then you stay. And, if not, you leave with immunity.

For there to be an RV on the first, somehow they must form a government this week. Some gurus out their still believe Maliki will get a third term. He will not and this situation can't be dragged on and on.

We will quickly see a resolution to this in my opinion. The stakes are too high. Iraq risks civil war and all the players know it. I read Revbo's retort to Ennorste and Revbo IMO you are right on.

There is a lot of unknowns yet to be resolved but rest assured we are very close. I feel very comfortable that Turki is just waiting on two things; A new government and Maliki out.
