I also don't see how you call him racist, it is ridiculous. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9658314 As for gun training, it is part of the police academy training, which he had in 2008; as for the charge from 2005 that several people have brought up, if was serious then he would have not qualified for the police training. He had every right to have a gun, train for a gun, and use the gun if he felt threatened. You can not go through the police academy if you are guilty of assaulting a cop.. duh! I know this because a relative is a cop, and it is common sense. Then again, most you you guys are trying to lynch this guy based on biased, agenda driven media reports and edited 911 calls. One more thing.. if you are going to act gangster/thug, dress gangster/thug, and put off that you are big and bad.. then don't be surprised that people are going to treat you that way! Did Zimmerman go through a police academy? If so please provide link. What I read in several reports is that he took criminal justice in college. There's a big difference since anyone can take those classes. With or without criminal justice classes you still have to go through academy to be hired or upon being hired. I'm just wondering which was the case with Zimmerman. I haven't read anywhere that he went through an academy. Both the college program and the academy do require the firearm training and range qualification. In my state the firearm training is called 832 P.C. I'm also wondering why he wasn't picked up by a department after 4 years if he completed the classes in 2008. But no matter the reason it still doesn't make him guilty or not. There's just too much misinformation and opinions on this case to reach a conclusion at this point. It's just a "wait & see" for what facts the state and federal investigations come up with. Nevertheless, I will not be surprised if a 911 call from Martin was withheld by the local p.d. I know for a fact that some departments are masters of deception and cover-up. |
