Gerry, does that mean up until now EMP's were just a theory? I've been reading about them for years and thought they/we had them already. My head is spinning these days, trying to find truth. Makes you wonder about that d--n time-slip stuff!

It has always been assumed that with a slight conversion to current off the shelf munitions you could cause an EMP blast. However, we now have a bomb that is dedicated to creating an EMP blast that is designed to be an EMP blast, not a bastardization of some other type of bomb. These are specifically designed to take out electronics...for good.

From the article.....................
For years many people felt that in order to create an EMP weapon, there might be some collateral damage involved from some form of an explosion used to create the pulse. However, this system does not make use of any explosive whatsoever, thereby resulting in zero collateral damage.

Boeing in partnership with the US Air Force Research Laboratories Directed Energy Directorate created the CHAMP weapons system, and successfully tested the system over the Utah desert on a military compound. The exact details on how the device was made will remain a secret, but we do know that it is transmitted from a missile-like device that flies over the intended target and directs its concentrated microwave energy.

Assad’s chemical weapons units head out of Damascus toward Aleppo

[link to debka.com]

debkafile’s military and intelligence sources reported that convoys of the Syrian army’s chemical weapons units headed out of Damascus under cover of dark and turned north up the road to Aleppo. Their destination is not yet known.
The convoys were ferrying self-propelled cannons for firing shells loaded with poisonous sarin gas.

Syrian President Bashar Assad had evidently decided to ignore the warnings President Barack Obama issued Monday night that there would be consequences if he or anyone in Syria resorted to chemical warfare and each would be held accountable.

Our sources report that the Syrian ruler is aparently gambling dangerously on the Americans holding back from attacking the convoys as long as they deploy unconventional weapons, and would only react when they are used.

He is also taking advantage of the heavy winds, rain and cloud over this part of the eastern Mediterranean and counting on the weather to obstruct military operations against his chemical weapons units.

By the time the weather clears some time Thursday, the units will be in place in battle formation. Meanwhile, bombing the convoys in windy weather could cause the deadly gas to spread out of control in unpredictable directions.

In Brussels, a NATO official announced that the alliance had agreed to augment Turkey’s air-defense capabilities by deploying Patriot missiles to Turkey.

debkafile’s military sources report that by the time the missiles arrive, the Syrian chemical weapons units will almost certainly have reached their pre-planned positions. Furthermore, the Patriot air defense systems are not designed to counter artillery and would therefore be unable to stop shells loaded with poison gas.

Thanks, Gerry. Ok, I know I'm a bystander in this field, but I've got to question the date. There is SO much I wish I could tell you guys, but not here. Let's just say I know WAY more mil. pilots, past and present, than are legally allowable by law, AND have a couple of "certifiable" rocket scientists in the family, retired and new. I'm trying to decide how to say this. I think this date is "convenient". I don't think it's as new as stated in the article.

No evidence Syria mixing chemical agents, Pentagon official says
By Jim Miklaszewski and Courtney Kube, NBC News

There is no evidence yet that the Syrian military has actually begun the process of mixing precursor chemicals to produce deadly Sarin nerve gas, a senior defense official told NBC News on Tuesday.

According to the official, despite the increased activity around several chemical weapons sites, including truck movements in and out, it’s not even clear that the precursors have been moved from separate storage sites to one location.

On Monday, US officials said the Syrian regime has ordered its Chemical Weapons Corps to “be prepared” which was interpreted to mean get all the precursors and pieces together to at least begin preparations for weaponization. The officials stressed the directive did not come directly from President Bashir Assad and did not order the use of chemical weapons.

Those officials said yesterday, as the senior official repeated Tuesday that no evidence process has begun.

One senior official warned that bombing chemical weapons sites would pose a high risk of releasing deadly clouds of the Sarin nerve gas. Instead, the official suggests airstrikes could be aimed directly at Syrian regime leadership. “We would punish the leadership,” said the official.

As of today, US defense and military officials tell us there are still no warning orders or alerts to any US military forces to prepare for any possible military action against Syria.

As I said earlier, there is no credible information that they have begun mixing the precursors and I have several doubts about the Debka article. Most of their articles have a modicum of truth and a whole lot of literary psychological warfare. We scan their articles for that tiny bit of truth, and then analyze the rest of the article to figure out whom it was aimed at and why it was released when it was released.

Per Gerry's thoughts which are quite brillant as always!

The one nation stopping intervention in Syria is Russia, perhaps an un-sophisticated group of leaders feels that raising the wmd card right now will convince Russia to back off and let the western nations do their thing. It may be working.

The other would be Iran. Get Iran to release her grip on Syria and or fear a loss of Syria and thus feeling boxed in, she would be more willing to cave in on nuclear negotiations!

My only reason to pause and still consider the WMD card real and dangerous is based on credible information provided over the past few months, though my eyes have not seen it first hand, some have and reported it and some are out there right now gathering new intelligence. We merely get fed stories and truth in a mix where it is difficult to determine what is accurate and what is actually just a ploy and we are merely following along.

I think I need a shower!

Over the red line: how Nato plans to hit Assad

Michael Evans and Deborah Haynes describe contingency plan for a no-fly zone if chemical weapons are prepared for deployment in Syria

A no-fly zone, ground troops and special forces form the main planks of British-American contingency plans drawn up over recent months in anticipation of a Syrian chemical attack.

If a political decision is made to intervene, a limited no-fly zone could be imposed to stop the Syrian Air Force dropping bombs with chemical warheads.

Special operations forces would be deployed, backed by a substantial number of support troops — perhaps as many as 75,000 — to seize or safeguard the Syrian regime’s chemical weapons facilities.

“We have [US] special operations forces at the right posture, they don’t have to be sent,...

Do you think the chemical weapon issue is why we are sending the B-2's that have been equipped with bunker busters out for deployment?

Netanyahu: Israel Monitoring Syrian Chemical Weapons
"We are closely monitoring developments in Syria regarding its stores of chemical weapons," says PM Netanyahu.

“I heard President Obama's important remarks on this issue and we are of the same mind, that such weapons must not be used and must not reach terrorist elements,” he added.

Syria has said that Turkey’s plans to deploy Patriot missiles along its border are "a new act of provocation.”

Iran and Russia have warned the move would complicate the situation and could spark a regional conflagration.

Lots of the young men in our family are in the military. 2 Air Force, 1 Marine, 1 National Guard and 1 Navy. I can say the Air Force and the Navy are making preps for something. The Navy is changing over some of the birds for deep scanning capabilities and the Air Force is sending the B-2's with the bunker busters out. I would think the two go hand in hand.

Re: WORLD at WAR, Official 2012 Thread (TO BE CONTINUED) Israel, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, PA, Egypt, Libya, Pakistan, North Korea, Russia, China, U.S.
Mitar Tarabic (1829-1899), an illiterate peasant from a small Serbian village called Kremna, had experienced occasional prophetic visions.

EVIL ONES RAVAGE THE EARTH - WORLD WAR III

"People waging this war will have their scientists who will invent different and strange cannon-balls. When they explode, these cannon-balls, instead of killing, will cast a spell over all that lives; people, armies and live stock. This spell will make them sleep, and sleep they will instead of fighting, and after they will come back to their senses.

Yes There will be ww3. When, who knows.

Tarabic said THE WORLD WILL BE SEPARATED IN 2 PARTS BEFORE WORLD WAR. Crucial role will play China, and its rise, ON THE BEHAVE OF THE WEST.

He SAID RUSSIA WILL FIGHT PLANES FROM ITALY.
This can be

1. Nato bases in Aviano, from where Serbia was invaded. Meaning US Hegemony in the world.
2. EU forces coming from Italy , in some future conflict between Catholic (satanic) Illuminati center and Free Russia.
3. If Italy was invaded and overaned by Islam, may be Russia will fight Islamic Califat army, who will come from Italy.

My personal opinion is that the first option will become reality.
This is the lOGIC. NATO has invaded and took over , THE WHOLE BALKAN, THE WHOLE EASTERN EUROPE. Today is completing invasion and taking over Middle East with the help of Harvard invented Arab Spring. AFTER SYRIA, NATO WILL INVADE IRAN. AFTER IRAN, THE PLAN OF THE US, IS TO INVADE RUSSIA.
This is the same more or less strategy of Hitler. Before taking Russia , he took Romania oil fields. And invaded Africa , for oil fields. But this time, EVIL , DARK EMPIRE IS US , WHO IS MAKING INVASIONS.

Nobody understands Russia, what is , and what means to this world. Russia is a counrty made by the spirit, to have only one role in this world, and that is TO BE OBSTACLE TO ANY FORCE THAT WANTS TO TAKE THE WHOLE WORLD.

1. Rome was destroyed by Kossaks, - Goths, who came from Danube rivers, which are today and were Rus people.
2. France Napoleon was destroyed by Russia, and his epmpire fall.
3. Hitler was destroyed by Russia (not some funny 80 thousand killed US personal , who enter the war in 1944).

Russia is not so developed, not so modern. Russian people do not posses high standard of living. But THIS IS IRRELEVANT FOR WAR.
Russia POSSES ENERGY NB.1 PLACE IN THE WORLD. AND POSSES WEAPONS. NB. 2 IN THE WORLD.
Russian people are more strong than any other people in the world. They are dicendance of Goths, and have Viking blood. They are Slavs, and they are strongest warriors that this planet has known. (same as Poslish , Serbs, Croats, etc).
They are not rational, but irrational, and they WILL ALL DIE FOR THEIR COUNTRY.

Today the clock is TICKING TOWARDS WORLD WAR. NATO satanical cabal is on Russia doorsteps. Russia knows this, and prepares for war. NATO WILL INVADE RUSSIA. BELIEVE ME ON THIS. NATO WILL INVADE RUSSIA, IN ORDER TO TAKE SIBERIA, AND THE LAND THAT HAS THE MOST RESOURCES, IN THIS WORLD.

Tarabic , STATED OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER, THAT COUNTRIES THAT INVADED RUSSIA WILL BE CLEANSED , AND TOTALLY DESTROYED. HE SAID THAT US WILL BRING WRATH ON THE GOD,AND CATASTROPHIC HAPPENINGS OF BIBLICAL PROPORTION WILL BE IN US IN THAT TIME. US WILL HAVE CIVIL WARS, AND NATURAL DISASTERS, UNKNOWN TO MAN , IN THIS EPOCH. He said nothing more. I interpret that US will even not enter this war, or just in the begining.US is not a country that can stand war on its territory, because has many internal problems, for that matter.

Tarabic, said that TURKEY WILL BE CENTER OF THIS BIG WAR. THE WAR WILL BE ON TURKEY LAND. THE WAR WILL BE SO HARD, THAT ISTAMBUL WILL BE EMPTY.
He stated that everything will be polluted, and that people in the Balkans could not eat food, and drink water. Only people living in hills and mountains (there many of that in the Balkans) will survive.

TARABIC STATED, THAT RUSSIA WILL WIN THE WAR. WHICH IS VERY INTERESTING HE STATED THAT RUSSIA AND ALLIES WILL TOOK OVER ISTANBUL AND RENAMED AS IT WAS , CONSTANTINOPLE. RUSSIAN FLAGS WILL BE ON AIA SOFIA, THE GRANDE ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN CHURCH, THAT TODAY IS TURKISH MUSEUM.

I BELIEVE THAT RUSSIA WILL TAKE WAR ON NATO, AND THIS WAR WILL BE NUCLEAR, AND BIOLOGICAL WAR.
RUSSIA WILL HAVE CHINA, IRAN, INDIA ON ITS SIDE.
AFTER A WHILE ALL SLAVIC COUNTRIES WILL BECOME RUSSIA ALLIES, JUST AS IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR.

Do not think of Russia as a bad country. It is just a BALLANCER OF THIS PLANET. Look what is happening when USSR was dissolved. how many invassions, how many wars, how many US military drone attacks. How many coutnries and peope deaths happend. We all need BALANCED WORLD, WHERE NO POWER CAN DO AS IT LIKES.
