Only believers in Christ, aka the "church", is Christ's Body. So there is no butchering or dividing.

We are also called the Bride of Christ, and Jesus said at the Last Supper that he was going to prepare a place for us and then return to receives us to himself. This parallels the Jewish wedding custom, after which we will be with him for 7 years to match the 7 days of the wedding feast.

Clearly, this is very scriptural, and I find anti-rapture views to be the ones dismissing scripture. But unlike you, I won't presume their motives for doing so.

They always seem to find one or two verses of scripture and twist the meaning to fit their view.

There are things left out and changed, see this:

- Christians are considered to be children of God and born of God (John 1:12-13) so God was a Mother before the text was altered.
- Adam is referred to as son of God (Luke 3:38), Jesus as firstborn over all creation (Col. 1:15) so Adam was born and Jesus was a reincarnation of Adam.
- Jesus was with God in the beginning (John 1:2) but there is no mentioning of Jesus in the Tanakh.
- After having created the humans on the sixth day in Genesis 1, God appears to have started over again by creating Adam and Eve in Genesis 2. This indicates that the text has been changed.
- Adam calling his wife Eve because She would become mother of all the living also suggests tampering.
- The Quran mentions the creation of Adam extensively but does not mention the creation of Eve, which may indicate that Eve was never created.
- The Quran mentions that Jesus and Adam were created in a similar way (Quran: 3:59). They were both born from a virgin.
- The repeated reference in the Gnostic texts of Mary Magdalene being loved by Jesus more than the others indicates that the Beloved Disciple in the Gospel of John was originally Mary Magdalene before the text was redacted.
- The last chapter of the gospel of John appears to be added later to suggest that the Beloved Disciple was John as the previous chapter already has closing lines (John 20:30-31).
- There apparently had been rumours that the Beloved Disciple had become immortal (John 21:23). If the Beloved Disciple was Mary Magdalene and if She was God then this would have made sense.
- The love of God Jesus was speaking of (John 17:23-26) therefore was the love of a Goddess for Her husband.
- John the Baptist talks in the Gospel (John 3:27-29) in terms of himself as a best man with the implication that Jesus the bridegroom is coming to meet his bride, but there is nothing specific to identify the bride (see also: Luke 5:34, Matt. 9:15).
- It was customary for a Jewish rabbi to be married and the apostles called him rabbi (Mark 11:21).
- The marriage described in the Gospel of John (John 2:2-8) could be the wedding of Jesus because at a Jewish wedding guests normally do not give orders.
- Jesus started doing miracles at this wedding, which may indicate that he was married to God.

Jesus is called Son of God because he was a reincarnation of Adam and Adam was a son of Eve. In the Quran Jesus is called Son of Mary, and coincidentally God was also named Mary like the mother of Jesus.

So, Jesus is probably going to marry God when he returns. Anyway, it makes more sense.

First, I am NOT anti-rapture, I don't believe in PRE-escapism rapture.

If your interpretation is true, then, WHO are the SAINTS that the antichrist prevails over, AFTER you folks have 'left'?

Last night in the RITA Now board I did some calculations.
I came up with Rapture happening today somewhere between 11 AM and 11 PM Central time zone.

Who needs evidence when there is faith.

1-- Escapism? Then Jesus taught us this "escapism", because it was he who said he'd come back for us, and Paul who said we'd be "snatched up" by Jesus, all BEFORE God rains down his wrath on the unbelieving world.

2-- If you had bothered to read what's been posted here in many places, you'd already know that "saints" and "elect" are not church-exclusive terms. They were used before us, and will be used after us.

3-- And you think I'm the one making erroneous presumptions, while you think I don't believe children will be raptured? Children cannot grasp rebellion against God, and this time of JUDGMENT thus does not apply to them.

4-- No, all those left are NOT hellbound. Many will be saved after the Rapture, but those who take the mark will be doomed, as the mark is a pledge of loyalty to the Beast and his kingdom.

This thread is about a possible Rosh Hashanah Rapture.

This was my reasoning.

Jesus was raised on the third day. Why not his bride. The question is third day from what? If you start the clock at sundown the 16th Jerusalem time 7PM, the second day would begin at sundown the 17th. The third would begin on sundown today, Tuesday which is a preferred wedding day would make sense. So Im thinking sometime between today at sundown till weddingsday morning Israeli time.
Convert that to central time which is 8 hours behind, That would put me at 11 AM-11 PM today.

So to me it seemed that I was on topic.

After the Pre-tribulation saints are taken away, there will be many who will realize what has happened and turn to the Lord. These individuals will be the Tribulation saints.

It is these people the AC will persue. Most who endure the tribulation will most likely be martyred similar to what we see radical muslims wanting to do to those who they contend blaspheme what they believe in today.

Those who burn in the lake of fire are those who throughout the Tribulation refuse to seek the Lord and remain un repentant.

I have read from several sources that those who are not called for the harpazo will not see that in the scriptures.

Lisa, If this is non-sense to you than fine, but this is serious to us that believe in a pre-trib Rapture. Especially on Rosh Hashanah. A 'Hight Watch" time.

Me neither. It's only Jesus' righteousness that gets anyone into heaven, so it matters not how righteous or backslidden a believer might be; they are part of the Body and Bride of Christ, and will be taken to the Bridal chamber and hidden away for 7 years. That's a promise from Jesus, and like any good "bride", I wait anxiously for his arrival, my "blessed hope".

No need to "correct", I simply stated that my hope is in what Jesus promised, and yes, of course he promised it to us all. Or did you think I only believed Jesus was coming for me?

Whether I'm here tomorrow or not, not even you can say. I'm not one of the date-setters; I'm just defending the pre-trib Rapture, since so many other people can't seem to remember the OP's focus. Jesus said, as many have already stated but were ignored, that "the Son of Man will come at a time you DO NOT expect him".

Clear enough? I hope so, because we won't be "chatting further" if you still go on with these false accusations and presumptions.

Thats a good possibility, and you might be on to something. The only thing that I would question is the fact that Jesus fulfilled ALL of the spring Feast on the exact day... so considering that, I would think that Christ would fulfill ALL of the Fall Feast on the exact day, or days since Rosh Hashanah is a two day Feast. Either way, we shall soon see.
