There is a difference between researching every possible theory, and researching every possible reasonable theory.

You could say it's unicorns using magic to draw the moon closer, thereby increasing the size and magnitude of said object.

However that wouldn't make any sense to do so. Also I'm not refuting any acknowledged scientific theories. I think maybe you meant refuting any unacknowledged ones? I'm not 100% sure.

I'm also not asking you to just take my word for it. That's more akin to what a conspiracy theorist would do. Read the links, then do follow up research yourself. I not only encourage that, I applaud it. Don't ever take anyone's word for it, unless you already have the data that backs it up.

How I am being dangerous by encouraging you to do some independent research and learn a few scientific principles is beyond me.

Here in Spain I can read on my balcony with the moon above tonight! So so bright.

Also very big and clear during the day this past week, very much as clear as at night, just not so bright.

The moon is conjunct Jupiter, right about now, and very close to the Pleiades, so it might be focusing more energy from these two heavenly objects.

7.30 PM - still pretty in daylight here and the Moon in up in the East VERY BRIGHT, it seem like a lamp.

...never seen it before like that, its impressive.
